Short tribute to the one of the most iconic symbols of beauty and history in Paris. Seems it was luck to film it before the fire destroyed everything from this perspective.

I got off the beaten path and away from the tourists to film in a small fishing village by the sea. If you are thinking of taking a vacation to Greece perhaps a stop on Crete might be a worthwhile travel adventure.

A short film looking at mysterious mountain from several different angles that a person might not normally see if they were visiting it.

Only one lens used: Tamron 24-70/2.8. Everything filmed handheld.

I had to make photos there. Didn't have opportunity to install VAF, so some ugly aliasing here and there :)

Pray for Paris a short cinematic video about the acts of terrorism committed in Paris on November 13, 2015.
Filmed at night at the Place de la République as Parisians remembered those who were killed.
There are no spoken words in the film which leaves you with space to reflect upon this tragedy with your own thoughts and prayers as they watch the scenes of remembrance.

Feature Requests / Powersave for IS / VC in LV mode
April 12, 2015, 01:19:22 PM
Would be pretty useful to add force IS/VC off in powersave options for standby mode. I don't know about canon's IS, but tamron's VC with ML in LV works all the time draining battery. VC off works fine in photo mode tho, it's active only when shutter button is pressed, but in LV it works permanently.

Was wondering how much you can film sitting at one seat :) Also was testing my new rig. Well, doesn't help much when the road is bad. With right log space ISO 1600 looks really nice imo. Recorded some sounds this time as well. Used manual lens without stabilization. Added some fine grain in post.

Thanx for watching  :)

It was challenge to walk and shoot with uncontrolled light changes. Could not get right balance on some shots. Made this short film by request. This is first part.
Most of shots ISO 1250-3200 and aperture 2.8.
Everything is handheld. Kamerar QV-1 as a stabilizer. VC was off.

I was inspired to film something different from what I'm usually doing.

Installion by J. Cardiff & G. Bures. The Marionette Maker. The scene is replete with metaphorical connotations that prompt a reflection on themes such as the passing of time, the humbling power of the imagination (both individual and collective) and the servitudes and limitations of the creative impulse.

Eveything is handheld. Kamerar QV-1 as a stabilizer.

The best season, the best colors of nature. I just love it. Fall. And all these attractions from my childhood make me a bit sad. Hope you will enjoy this short film.

Slowest shots tested 6D in 50p RAW mode with max resolution 1792x634. Since you upscale mostly vertical resolution footage looks very good in 1080p, but VAF is a must, otherwise alisiang getting too horrible.

PS: For some reason it looks a bit choppy on some slowerst shots after vimeo conversion. In original file it looks very smooth. Video converted to 720p to fit vimeo's rules. Please, do not watch it full screen on fullHD monitor.

This is short film captured in Palma de Mallorca. I flew there specially to film it, but it was all of sudden and I didn't have time to prepare for trip, even didn't have map and got lost few times there trying to find way to main hill (Never found tho, reason to come back:). Wonderfull and silent place. I felt there convenient, even at very late evening walking with my gear alone.
Film is really short, so I may call it teaser for upcoming another one I'm working on now. Used different way to grade this time. Slightly added film grain by VisionColor, but I guess it will be cut by Vimeo's compression.

Additional gear used: Varavon slider + Giottos ballhead (light travel version), Kamerar QV-1, VAF, Nikon 105/2.5

There're some places in our world, everyone should visit, at least once. Where's the best city hill in the world? Yes, it's crowded, but I love the place with all these people I meet there. Probably, everyone has his own film about this place. I tried to film what I usually feel when I'm visiting it.

Dusk & Love medicine / ML RAW

Filmed with Canon EOS 6D. Everything is handheld. Had to turn stabilization off, because battery was too low. Used great Kamerar VF to make it more steady. I got some crap on sensor, but found it only at home, decided to keep shots as is. Due to lack of light I was recording with 2.8, as a result lacking DOF in some shots.

Filmed by the request of local monk. It was a short weekend trip. I was sick, but had to go there. Strangely after the return all illness went off in a few hours. As a result decided to create a short film for the monk from random scraps I filemed there. In this movie I tested some anti moire cheats. Turned out pretty good.

Beautiful girls and nice looking camera - what do you need more? Can look at them endlessly :)

Didn't expect to shoot there, but when saw the models with OM-D just couldn't resist. Everything is handheld again. Filmed at 70mm and close-ups with ML's crop mode (was tricky to keep camera steady there). Had to deal with damn banding in post, that's why so much grain added. Any less grain is causing horrible banding with 45Mb/s compression to fit video size for vimeo.
