When I'm doing a timelapse where auto ETTR is needed, I pretty much always reach the limit of my memory card... Could AETTR work without the raw histogram ? I mean, wouldn't the regular histogram be enough for ettr ?

Thanks!

Hi, I wanted to try the advanced intervalometer to do a sunset timelapse, but it appears I'm not able to choose a slower shutter speed than 1/24s. It's the same in the Expo menu, and in manual mode. The only thing I found to set a custom shutter speed is to set it via the original canon menu, then the value will be correct in ML menus, which is quite annoying. It's the same with AETTR disabled, I can't figure out what's happening.

Thanks in advance for any help, as the sun is going down quickly here. :)

Hi everybody,

so I've been using and loving ML for almost a year, but now I'm dying to try out the the new features, until now I've been waiting for a stable release but yeah, it's been two years...

The problem is my 500D is not entirely mine, it's my father's so I am really really scared to install a nightly. Are they safe now ? Does anyone with a 500D can confirm that certain nightly is working perfectly ? Or you think now there shouldn't be any problem with the latest ones ?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Feature Requests / Focus presets ?
January 12, 2014, 05:08:52 PM
Hi everybody! So first just want to say thanks to everybody working on the project, it's really amazing to see what the community can do, Canon engineers should be ashamed...

Anyway I do a lot of astrophoto, and one thing that is quite a pain to do every night is to focus on the stars. Now I have an idea : we could save focus presets (like "18mm - Stars") and load them when we need it, that would make focusing on "still" stuff that you take regularly a lot easier.

Please forgive me if this has already been requested or implemented in nightly, I'm too scared to use them.
Thank you.
