When I came to update to the latest nightly build the was no traffic cone shown, only the icons for ML, ml-setup fir. and autoexe c bin. copying them accross to my SD card as normal, the card was not updated.  I looked at the other nightly builds and they were all the same.  Has MS removed anything?

I then went to Canons site to see if thier firmware needed reloading and was offered only an update 1.1 which I used to update my card. now Magic Lantern is not allowed to be copied!!!!

Can any one tell me what is happening please or is it just me.  Am getting twiches and the shakes due to not being able to use ML. :((

Hi
I am having to give a short talk on ML to my camera club, Club Focus in Plymouth UK, and want to be able to show how to set White balance, iso shutter speed etc. via a projector and my laptop.

Is there a programme I can down load that will allow me to do this please?

You can email me at [email protected]

General Help Q&A / Aol and other things
February 28, 2015, 01:47:56 PM
Hi

Have just updated to 20th Feb Nightly build, and found that AOl is active. and that the focusing seems to have stopped as when I press the shutter half way to focus camera just take a photo.

I am probably confused and have not been able to find out what AOL is or how to turn it off like wise how to change the way the shutter works. must be an age thing.
Can anyone please help.

Hi  Am New to this and may not use the correct terminology.

I have a Kiss 4 (Jap. 550D) with ML installed.

Whilst am still coming to grips with how it all works I have the following problem:-

Having entered live view and set up Exp.  ISO aperture, I then 1/2 press shutter and instead of going through the focusing, the mirror closes  and I then have to take the exposure by pressing the shutter button all the way.  The appears to be no way out of this.

I have checked the instructions an appear to have every thing set correctly.

What am I doing wrong?

I would add that I took a 30min video the other day, indoors, and it came out beautifully.
