Raw Video / Re: 600D Capabilities
February 25, 2015, 02:57:12 PM
Bandwidth needed for continuous recording in 24 fps:
Vertical resolution * Horizontal resolution * Frame rate * 14 / 8
1728 x 1156 x 24 x 14 / 8 = 83897856 Byte/s -> 80 MByte/s (= Number shown by ML when those settings (resolution + frame rate) are used.

Bandwidth available for continuous recording: About 21 MByte/s.
Do the math but you will have to go down to about 6 fps. Or higher frame rates for shorter durations.

Sorry, unable to follow your description.
ML version used is?
You copied extracted nightly build contents to card?

Quote from: emphram on February 20, 2015, 04:35:44 PMand the 4gb file limit is present even when the card is formatted in exfat (unless there is a way to change this).

650D will do h.264 recordings up to 29:59 no matter which file system is used:

Download zip once again http://pel.hu/eoscard
Extract files and copy FIR to card. Run firmware update.

If this doesn't work: Connect cam to PC/Mac via USB and use EOS Utility to install Canon's firmware.

Format card inside cardreader.
Copy Canon's firmware file 5D300123.FIR to card.
Insert card into cam und run firmware upgrade.
Insert card into cardreader, delete 5D300123.FIR and copy extracted nightly build contents to card.
Insert card into cam and run firmware update.

Dual-ISO LR plug-in is in fact using cr2hdr/cr2hdr20.
It's kind of a wrapper with a GUI + integration in LR.
#61
Format card in cardreader, make card bootable (EOScard/Macboot) and copy extracted nightly contents (1.1.3) to card.

OS X: We had - at least - two incidents with OS X making a card non-bootable (on it's own). So check after copying and run Macboot again.

Yes. Try

to solve your Macboot/Yosemite problem.

(for some reason I couldn't watch anything on vimeo lately)
Sounds related to Adobe Flash-Player. Make sure to use latest (16.0.0.305) and you (or some security tool) aren't blocking it.

Shoot Preparation / Re: Help Please !! New To ML

This is a forum dedicated to users underwhelmed by the features offered by their cams and developers able to do something about it.
If you are not able to master your cam and/or unable to get the photos you want to get because lack of own experience/skills you're in the wrong area.

We were all where you are right now but please look for a forum and users/local photogs more suitable to your needs.

@smok29:
Running out of options here.
1) Re-download nightyl build and copy extracted contents to card. Overwrite existing files.
2) You may try to reset cam to factory defaults (including C.Fn).

Maybe problem is in file system (fat32, nfts, exfat) on SD or
allocation unit size (16KB, 32KB, 64KB?)

NTFS won't run at all inside 70D. The cam will ask you to format it. Cards with 30/32 GByte will be formatted with FAT32 by the cam. I never heard of block size errors with Canon cams.
Alas, there has to be a cause for this.

Format the card using your cardreader. Insert in cam and format again. Back into cardreader again and run EOScard to make card bootable. Delete ML directory and Autoexec.bin (if any) and copy extracted alpha contents to card. Insert card into cam and startup. Results?
#68
A warm welcome, robert0! ;-)
#69
Strange.
Enable Frame Skipping in RAW (MLV) submenu. Just for debugging this one.
#70
Delete ML directory and Autoexec.bin. Copy extracted nightly contents to card. Insert card into cam and start again.
#71
Try lower resolutions/frame rates.
#72
If able provide values up to 60. If higher: Better.
Larger temperature range will give a more accurate data set.
#73
Use RAW recording *or* RAW (MLV) recording, not both at the same time.
