sorry to bug, but do you know how to go about that?

what i meant was merging the raw photos and the metadata , not just batch renaming. I have the whole adobe suite, and if there is a way to do that through photoshop, bridge, lightroom then id love to see the direction on that if possible. Maybe there is a thread on that in hear i have not seen yet?

I dont think so..  some one will have done this on a mac.  The other option is to download an Oracle VM virtual box and install a windows OS inside your machine.  I assume this is doable, I use the VM virtual box in my windows machine and run Unbuntu 64bits.
Check this site: www.virtualbox.org

Can the batch processing of the CR2 and UFraw files be done in any adobe programs? for example photoshop or bridge?
#54
would you say its better to invest in a PC just to do this process?
#56
what about for the UFraw? any direct link?
#57
when i go to download and under mac osx, none of the links will re direct (they all say service unavailable or internal error). The gimp osx link works but in the descripton it says there isnt a stand alone version in that. Im just looking for a direct link to get just UFRAW on my mac so i can test out this flicker free timelapse process. Also to you have any file renaming applications for mac?
#58
Someone please post an alternative way to downloading UFRAW for MAC, the current download link are outdated , and also not working. Anyone please.

Ive noticed the underexposed shots as well, but i was also told that in this case to shoot 2 stops over exposed to get the right exposure in processing. Is ML compatible with FW 121 now? i thought it was settled at FW113
#60
i dont believe so, because its happened with almost every timelapse i have done using magic lantern, when i use my control intervelometer, it never happens. weird.

Is anyone else expeirencing a shutter shake in the in camera intervelometer timelapses? if so, is there anything that neeeds to be done in any of the menus to prevent this from happening? Below is an example i did, i shot it straight at the wall next to a window and a board so it can be used as a reference of the shaking. im almost positive it isnt my tripod and because i shot it 3 times in my house in a stable position.

How about some sort of synced audio file in RAW? or simotaniously audio recording in camera?
#63
Has anyone experienced with the Intervelometer ,post deflicker, and manual ramping? Can someone clarify how to succeed at doing day to night or night to day timelapses using the exposure ramp option, without it boosting your ISO (preferebly adjusting the shuter and aperature only). And im not sure if i just happen to shoot on oddly windy days, but has anyone experienced a couple image jumps in your timelapses in post? Seems like there is a glitch in the camera, but i just started seeing it.

This is so good! can you link me to the latest 5D mk3 module you used? id like to update mine to the most recent.

Can someone list a good post workflow for Dual Iso video? is it the same as RAW Video?
#66
It works great, the only problem i had was that SON OF BATCH creates a proxy movie file, the dng's, and a back up of the PS files. I found that the proxy movie they develope isnt at quality at all of what it should be. In result i turn off the proxy export and the PS file export and just rely on the DNG files....then correct in Photoshop and export via quiktime to a movie sequence. The plus is that it can show a preview of a PS file easily, which does save you a lot of time knowing if the shot is usable or not. Anywyas thanks for the great work everyone, im loving this revolution.

Very nice work here, even though there's quite a bit of noise in the beginning. :D
Thank you, and yes i know, my iso was in the 2000 range most of the time since i was only using a f4. im sure a basic denoise would do the job though, like i said i didnt apply any grading or corrections to the image besides stabalizers.

Hi there, what other gear did you use to pan & steady, etc.?
Everything was hand held or on a tripod, i added the warp stabilizer via adobe premier when editing.

all shot Raw via magic lantern on a Canon 5d mark III
- Canon 17-40 f4
-32 gb sandisk extreme 60mbs
-shot at 1920 X 768 ( i had no trouble recording at this resolution with my size and speed of a card)

What do you mean by export the proxies? what are the advantages of exporting them as proxy?
#71
Thank you, yea ive heard of the possible problems that can happen, but never heard of them actually happening

Anxious to shoot once i was able to hack the HD RAW Video codec for theCanon 5d Mark 3, i went to Signal Hill, Long Beach Ca and gave it a run. Not bad in my opinion, all these shots are raw and untouched as far as color grading. Still wondering how to get those vertical lines to go away and the weird noise. Ive heard that it really comes out in underexposed shots, so ill try to shoot one a a couple stops over exposed soon.

Magic Lantern 5dMK3 Alpha Hack

1920 X 768
24 FPS
Raw Hd Video
32GB Extreme 60mbs
Canon 85mm 1.8

Workflow
Shot on 5d MK3, raw files converted VIA RAWMAGIC, sequenced in Quicktime Pro 7 to Proress HQ, and brought into Premier for editing. The task can be very tedious right now that its not a stable firmware, but im sure in the near future we will be looking at very user friendly workflows. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TRYING THIS UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED FOR A POSSIBILITY OF A DEAD CAMERA! Havent heard of any actual cameras dying from this hack, but you never know.
