It should work. The only reason it wouldn't is if you are using RAW or MLV, which you would know if you are using. Changing the bitrate doesn't change the codec only the compression rate.

Thanks for response.

But I'm shooting in h264.
I dodn't know anything about digic peaking also.
I've seen digic's luma and slight sharper options, appeared in last nightly build.

Is it possible to have digic peaking from raw mode and shoot in h264?

Canon 550d used.

Yes, same principles. Do what Ted said to do did and it will work.

*Shots fired*
Go to the LV menu and you will have options to toggle what you want on or off.
Hope that helps

What did you grade that with? Very nice images:)

@Chmee-
I can get Tiff's from eyeframe converter and I (personally) don't see that huge of an advantage of ACR vs colorista/luts/speedgrade.
Dng's are only faster if Premier can (fully) support them ;)
(I was trying to propose simple, PPro work flow)
However, I really am thankful for all the work you put into the Cinema DNG converter with party mode and the different options. It is very appreciated.

@Andy600
sorry I am C++ illiterate and can not get that to work but thanks!

Unless I am missing something, it seems that TIFF's will work, but they will be slower than DNG's. I would prefer a slower, larger format, but full 16bit support rather than all the extra work that comes with DNG's.
Thoughts?

Was flame blending or anything applied to this for smoothness? What was your shutter speed?

#57
Ok
So many of us have heard of Reddeercity's workflow of importing the DNG's into AEX and using dynamic link into Premier.
However this has several drawbacks including not being able to import multiple clips.

What I am proposing is moving from DNG's to TIFF's.
There would be:
-Native support in Premier
-ACR adjustment via Bridge
-Quicker conversion times (TIFF's wouldn't need to be converted into DNG's/CDNG's)

Possible drawbacks
-More Disk space required.
-You have to do ACR adjustments before import (can this be changed?)

i have 600D. yes i was try into the bulb mode, but my camera only shoot in 5 second like the display on bulb timer camera 5s. i just have 2 option "5s" and "OFF"
Hit the "Q" or the "AV" button just to the left of the screen to customize these options. I think they are right by the screen they are on the 550d.

To expand on arrinkiiii on Cinema DNG's. In premiere they render out effects much faster (around 3x faster) so many people would greatly appreciate that update.
Ps. This is for people that use the dynamic link from AE to PP to view DNG's. It's a very practical workflow and a ton of people use it. Thanks.

What camera do you have? You may need to put it into "bulb mode"
#62
Yes I do. What does that have to do with my error message though?

..is 32 bit.

Do you see a C:/program Files (x86) folder in windows?

I am a newbie, I like your picture, that is great,,, I just wanna ask about bulb 99"

are you always press the shutter release until 99" or you use another gear or another trik/tips???
thanks... sorry if my english not good

He uses the Bulb time feature offered by Magic Lantern. It should be under the camera icon labeled "shoot" if you have ML installed.

Sorry if you have already seen this, but i posted a bit ago with no response. If it is a dumb question feel free to ignore it.
I always get the error "MLV2DNG has stopped working." any ideas? I have a brand new very quick computer (Windows 8.1), and Ifran, MLV viewer, and Adobe DNG converter are all installed. Any ideas?

Raw Video / Re: 6D 1080P RAW in crop mode?

Look at my first post. And people who achieve such high recording times with such high resolutions are not using an SD card based camera like the 6d.

I got 86 frames at 1808 by 1018. That's the max rez in non crop mode. I got 74 at 2048x948 which is RAW max crop mode.

I use it and I'm in love with it!

I saw that on the "multiples of ISO 160 gaining more DR" or something like that. Everybody should go check that out. Warning, it's pretty techy.

New Codec for the 50d perhaps?
#72
Move this to the tragic lantern section of this forum. You'll probably get some more knowledgeable people on it (people who know specifically about the 6d).
#73
Tell me what needs to be done and I will do it. Plus this will make your converter even more popular! I will be able to give you some mlv files as well.

Any news when MLV will be supported?

What kind of camera are you running ML on?
