Quote from: GTempler on February 13, 2014, 09:16:21 AMI have the M camera, I use the latest TL nightly builds, so I have Feb11th when I tried it. I shoot MLV movies , 1280x720 16x9 24fps crop mode. No audio can be used on the M as of this time.
Thanks for the heads up Mario. I will do a sweep of the stripes fix to find the mix up.
Gary, the latest build was actually made on a windows 7 64 bit system. Could you give me any specifics on the files you are converting and the version of magic lantern you're running?
Quote from: papkee on February 13, 2014, 01:41:08 AMI wish this worked for MLV files since we are moving in that direction instead of raw. I only see a way of either trying to still shoot just raw (not mlv) or a two step with converting mlv to raw and mores steps is not something anyone wants to do. Unless I am missing something here and someone can explain it to me.
raw2dng_cs2x2_ahdlike.exe is the latest version.
Page 13 has the other versions as well.
Quote from: pilgrim on February 12, 2014, 11:23:23 PMThanx Pilgrim. I looked everywhere inside this app, Shortcut. I do not see any option to convert/encode to ProRes anywhere or a Quicktime mov option.
@ gary2013 : I use the program Shotcut ( http://www.shotcut.org/ ) for transcode/encode. I use on Mavericks and Windows 7.
In fact it can edit also, but still on the development. In most case many people use Premiere or Final Cut Pro, etc, but for someone need very simple cut/editing and free, this program is very good. It have many basic effect which often need : grading, gain for saturation, white balance, stabilization, etc. You can put inside H264, AVCHD and many other format and encode to ProRes, Avid DNxHD, MPEG Intra-Frame, etc. I use it to transcode AVCHD files from Sony and H264 from Canon to ProRes with colour correction in Shotcut, and then edit on FinalCutPro, mixed other material ProRes from Ninja, some cleaning with Neat Video, it's work nice.
@ Tony : Can we put other LUT files on the folder Luts ? Is the format will be only .curve or .cube will be on the future ?
Thank you very much for this apps , it's going faster and faster now
Quote from: Rush on February 12, 2014, 03:59:19 PMThanx Rush. I am on windows 7 and that apps looks like Mac only.
Check 5DtoRGB tool
Quote from: tonybeccar on February 12, 2014, 05:52:47 PMTony, thanx, but I did not see anything inside of Tencoder that has convert my H.264 files to ProRes?? I did want to say that this app wins the prize for having the most amount of xtra apps we don't want while trying to sneak them in on an installation. I think there were seven extra apps. After all the Declines I made, at the end it did nothing for thirty seconds and then it finally installed Tencoder. What's the world coming to? I like the old days of getting one app I want and it installs. :-) BTW, none of this is meant to be against you, Tony, just the people who make the app for download.
I always use TEncoder.. it's nice interface.. let's you import a tree of folders and converts it straight away.. you have a bunch of codecs available.. though it is very slow to add the files, but then you're good to go..
Quote from: tonybeccar on February 10, 2014, 04:21:53 PMI don't remember exactly. I think it was just saying it finished converting mlv and wanted to confirm to continue which it did after I clicked on the button saying OK. The green progress bar was also paused at that point. also, as I said, it was buried under other open windows. i will try and see the exact wording on the pop up next time i get to testing. can you make any pop up always be on top? that would help, too.
Jeez... what does it say?? Must have been very stupid yesterday.. I use them for testing..
Quote from: tonybeccar on February 08, 2014, 05:13:22 PMwho are you talking to?
Ok thank you, so there's the problem!
Do you use the mlv metadata? Text and take?
Are you shooting with sound?
Quote from: Frank7D on February 08, 2014, 12:05:29 AMi still do not get proxies. i do not see tiffs and it does say it is done. i only get dngs.
For the people who aren't getting proxies:
While the program is running, do you see the tiffs appearing in the same folder as the DNGs? (the tiffs are the intermediate files that are generated after the dngs but before the proxies and then are automatically deleted)
The program tells you what it is doing while it is doing it. What is the program doing right before it finishes?
Does it finish with the normal pop up message saying it is done?
The more detail you give about what is happening, the easier it will be to figure out what is wrong.
Quote from: tonybeccar on February 07, 2014, 05:31:39 AMwhen i ran ur app for the first time i get two pop ups asking me to show it where the adobe dng exe is and also the mlrawviewer.exe I do for both and then the apps runs. i set up maybe 3 raw files and the proxies and start the convert. when it is done, the proxy folder is empty. i set it to the correct folder before converting. i tried 444 and a second time with HQ. neither of them worked.
My god that sucks... I wonder whats going on with ffmpeg.. did you move any files inside the program folder? There's no apparent reason why it shouldnt be working :S, it just skips the process?? No error? No nothing?
Quote from: tonybeccar on February 07, 2014, 01:00:05 AMI am also not getting any proxies in the folder I made and specified. I have tried diff types, 444, HQ... I use Windows 7 with all the updates and latest drivers.
Are you SURE? Checked the folder you selected? Has at least one setting? Can you tell us a bit more? :S OS version? It should work well really...
Quote from: tonybeccar on January 31, 2014, 04:27:36 PMmy screen is not small, it is 42". The problem is probably from me having a TV/Monitor and the overscan is causing me to use the graphic display menu to resize the aspect ratio so all of the Windows display is seen and not cut off. As we discussed in PM, consider making your UI a small amount shorter, but also wider since we have 16x9 displays. You can then add a lot more things to the UI being a wider view with three columns instead of two.
Wow! Never seen a screen so small.. but it's weird.. I have the same resolution as you!! 1366x768 I quote... so why the program is different sizes for both of us??? :S Will see if I can ass a shrink resize or something.. truth is if I shrink the UI in height everything will be too together and I will have to remove those "boxes" that say the title of the contents.. and I need them. The UI will become less intuitive visually I think.. AND, for example now I wanted to add more height, for an individual progressbar, and a system statusbar.. I guess I will have to trade with something.. will see. As I said, will ad a resize shrink to ALL function if i can!
Cheers!

Where can I find Tragic Lantern EOS-m2?
Or not yet?
Quote from: tupp on January 31, 2014, 07:47:04 AMyou can find submenus by tapping the screen once on the main menu item. You go to the Movie settings and at the top it says CBR 1x. Tap on that once and then the submenus show and all the settings are there.
Does TL for the EOS-M offer control of GOP, slice and bit rate, as TL1 does for the 600D?
Quote from: tonybeccar on January 30, 2014, 05:43:08 PMtony, here is a pic of the problem you asked for.
Really?! The window is bigger than your screen? :S I have the same resolution than you.. been measuring it with that.. do you have a bigger windows taskbar maybe? Mind to send me a screenshot?
Thanks!
Quote from: evildream_pt on January 31, 2014, 12:12:21 AMwelcome to the forum. you do need to run the firmware if it is the first time for TL or ML. You can find good info on how to do things at Max's EOS-M Shooters Guide.
Hi there,
I'm looking forward to install Tragic Lantern on my EOS M.
Do i need to first install the ML firmware for this or can I install TL right away? I didn't find any TL install instructions so I assume the procedure is the same as ML.
Thanks!
Quote from: ted ramasola on January 31, 2014, 04:06:20 AMi don't really have problems with other apps. there is a lot of space to make it a little shorter in height and keep the text. And, it won't cause any problems for other people.
I think the app size is just about how most app windows are. In fact its about the same size as the older Rawanizer and g3gg0's MLV browsersharp.
Layout and font sizes are just right. The change is font colors is now right in this version.
If you adjust the dimensions, just keep the font sizes as they are.
Quote from: tonybeccar on January 30, 2014, 05:43:08 PMyes, really. I have a 42" lcd TV/Monitor that I use. The native resolution is 1360x768. If I go to 1080p, the text is too small to read then and the images are just blown up to fit. I also have to use my graphics app to set the custom aspect so the whole windows screen fits the view. If I do not, the taskbar and desktop items are off screen. your app barely fits and it falls behind my taskbar at the bottom. You have a lot of extra space in your UI like I suggested. I think it shouldn't be hard to make it smaller and it shouldn't cause any harm or crowd anything there.
Really?! The window is bigger than your screen? :S I have the same resolution than you.. been measuring it with that.. do you have a bigger windows taskbar maybe? Mind to send me a screenshot?

Quote from: ted ramasola on January 30, 2014, 04:39:46 PMi also see the same error.
Tony,
I Just dl'ed it again, still gives invalid error message when its output folder is same as source.
Quote from: Janke on January 24, 2014, 02:24:56 PMpulling the battery has nothing to do with it.
Also with the 11-22 EFM lens. Got it three times in a row, even after removing battery - maybe should have left battery out for longer?
