I am video recording (60D) an over-the-shoulder view of a Wacom Cintiq tablet. The one with the built in monitor.

But, of course, the resulting video recording shows scrolling scan lines on the Cintiq.

Is there a setting or trick I can use to reduce or eliminate these scan lines?

Hey, I'm no expert and not trying to be a smart ass  :'( boo hoo . LOL.

I do actually need some help in figuring out what is causing this.

The only difference is the right image is on the latest build, the left image is on the previous build.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I would like to know!

May be I should say a purple fringe around high contrast adjunct areas. Obviously it is not literally CA. But, the image is digitally processed and anything can happen as a result of it. In any case, there is a difference in the last two builds I've installed.

Shot still photo test with 60D/50mm1.4 and found with this nightly build I get heavy purple CA as compared to stock firmware. And only slightly more CA than with the Nov 7th build.

Anyone else see this?

Hi guys, moderator please move this if it is not in the right forum.

I get an error message that the Fonts.Dat is not found and can not complete firmware update

The folder show a number of rbf files but no fonts.dat file

I can't find it in the stable release either. Is this something I have to copy over to the new sdcard?

My God - I love it. I do wish it had the help files in it.

Oh, and if you do go nightly build, be sure you format all your cards. I made that mistake today. The first card I used was the only one updated. So, I'll have to do some editing in Premiere Pro to get all my footage to match.

Any luck? I assume it is back in working order.

running vers 2.3 and one of the cameras keeps getting this message when I try to display the magic zoom. Can someone help me debug the setting?

I know this topic has been closed for a while. But, I want to add that the combination worked really well for me. I am using version 2.3 on a 60D and a PC laptop running WinXP and EOS Utility vers 2.10.2.0. I like that I can see my ML histogram, magic zoom, etc on the laptop. That is a big help.
