On the 650D or 700D? Could you please check your "Shoot_Malloc" size ("Debug" tab -> "Free Memory" -> Press "Q")?
Maybe you have more than 91 Megabyte. That would explain why you are getting better results with an average SD-Card ...

shoot_malloc total 95MB

i just bought a "32gb Sandisk Extreme Pro Sd 95mb/s" and i've made some tests with it.

now i can record 1579frames (1minute 4-5 seconds) of 1280x720p raw until it skips a frame.

Curious I can record 720p24 continuous with my SanDisk 45MB/s Card

I hope my faster card will arrive tomorrow by mail.

It should be possible to copy the ML files from the old card to the new card, right? So I don`t loose my ML settings?

I am happy now.
About 500 frames in 720p24 with my 33MB/s Card and a great tool for removing the dots http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=6658.msg55543#new

No conflict, in the past there was a setting called framing.
Now it is gone https://bitbucket.org/hudson/magic-lantern/commits/145e69e340eb9a868f29eda8f0acae0a4fb6cbc3

Only the dolly mode which was a part of framing is still there.

Framing was removed because you dont got any speed improvement from it.

I'm working with Mixer2 on an improved "dot location determination" for these dots which will come with the next release.
Thank you very much, this sounds great.

QuoteUntil then, you can try to edit the file 650D_Video_1280x720.txt which you find in the dotData directory. The 4th line ends with "2068". You can try to gently reduce this value, e. g. to 2050 or 2040. This should then remove more of these dots.
I tried it, but the improvement is not so big an I cant set smaller values than 1058 if I reduce the value more the program sometimes freeze.

The Camera and ML dont update the shown remaining free space on card after RAW recording.
After turning the camera on and off the right value of free space is shown.

I think it worked on an older build, I think it was the build from 12.06.13

Two in LR4 cropped 1280*720 24p footage pictures pushed 2Av from Canon 650D

You see some dots are completely removed, some dots are still there and some dots are a bit removed.

Here the two frames without crop

After processing the files with the dotremover the dots are weak visible.
When I push the picture 1,5 Av the dots are again very good visible.

I shoot 1280*720 16:9 with an EOS650D
Is it normal?

Normally you can see them in Youtube too.

Errh... Switched SD card to my new sanDisk 95mb/s to try it out. While setting up some of my preferences, At "FPS override" i chose 65 fps just for fun. A few seconds later the screen froze and now the camera won't boot ???.

Did i just brick it?  :-\
Is there any new information why the camera bricked?

There's already a superior way than either of these for now. In Lightroom or ACR, turn Noise Removal in both Luminance and Color all the way up and then adjust the detail sliders until just around the point where the dots disappear enough.
I tried it
It kills all details and the dots are still visible.

So what? No one tried RAW on 650D?
Youtube has a lot of sample raw videos, and here I can't find any, even can't find an official 650D raw thread (except this one)...

another problem
i set the bitrate to 3.0x and the MOV was 55mbps while the default 1.0x was 45mbps

1920 24p
You need to shoot something with more detail.
Than you get 100mbps@ 2.5x but I have not seen any difference.

Hello

I installed ML but I got this massage "Houston, we have a problem" after rebooting after firmware update(step 5)

I was shocked, turned the camera quickly of and did it again.
Now it works.

I dont know if it is important.
