180°C would cause the solderings to go soft, come on.
RAW temperature still has to be interpreted but we don't really need to care about it as Canon engineers did already.

thanks ilguercio for telling me that this is normal with Magic Lantern. Hope this won't deteriorate the battery life.

Regards

David
It is just ONE blink, after you get it you can pull the SD card out so the camera won't still try to access the card even though you think it is turned off and resting.
Many of us had the experience of a drained battery overnight because of this, now you know how to avoid it.

So you know when to remove the SD card.

What are the 5 pictures for?

Ok, made a new unified with everything scalable individually. Watch for MVR resets. The CBR "scale" does nothing since everything is separate. Changing D values makes MVR reset or produces giant bit rates, maybe we'll find out why in testing.

Let me know if you find anything interesting.

Trying it now but it is not easy to spot differences other than pure bandwidth.
Do the guys that have hacked the GH2 know something about those settings already?
They could help us somehow.

But it's something i can't seem to find covered anywhere, not in the user manual etc. When you have filming enabled, how do you actually start filming? which button acts as the shutter button, as it were?
I guess it's the 50D you're talking about.
SET ;)

General Help Q&A / Re: iso 25 or 50 in Canon 550 (t2i)
August 10, 2012, 10:26:40 PM
No.
Or yes, just overexpose a 100 iso shot by 1 or 2 stops and then restore it to the proper exposure in post.
There you go.
#661
Yes. Read the instructions of each function BEFORE using it to properly understand how it works. Just to make sure you don't record of shoot something that will result in being unusable or not conform to your expectations later.
It wouldn't be called "FPS override" if it was just a repetition of frames :)
#662
FPS override does not change the header. Notes and tips under the INFO about FPS override ;)
The header has to be changed in post, in fact if you notice the file lenght it isn't right ;)
#663
3 fps is 3 fps.
You will get 1 2 3 each second. No frames are repeated.

Thanks for the effort. I obviously second the g3gg0's approach for <4gb files.
Can you do enable it for other cameras or should we wait for a1ex?

What can be done for cameras which don't support exFAT?

Exposure override is what you're looking for.

You don't have to record twice the time if you use half the FPS.
The stretching will do the job of reassigning the proper lenght to the file.
#669
Quiet shooting mode is another thing and that involves lifting the mirror before the shutter to redure the overall generated noise.
Being able to take pictures in LV without the shutter would be... revolutionary ;)

As i said, i like it but i don't know if it can be made this way.
Previous layouts are good but they do remember too much the standard menu from Canon so thumbs up for your design.

50D supports exfat?
I guess not :D
Recording limits are not my main concern but if there is a way to get around them, why not?
Have you had any success yet?
What if you disable sound? (just a thought)

I formatted my 8GB CF card as exFAT and made it bootable with EOS card but the camera does not recognize it as properly formatted.
