Just tested dual iso. That's fantastic! Thanks!
I got a few crashes after taking some photos, if you guys have any clue.
Well, if you don't post the LOG files how can people help you?
Also, describe what you were doing.
@1%:i am getting some pink in my dual iso images. I asked that question because MAYBE some of the values in cr2hdr are hardcoded to the 5DIII and thus they require some dual iso files from the 6D to be perfected.

i wanted to buy a full frame camera for stills
because i like the low noise on high iso and high shutter speed

but now with this update for canon 50d from tragic lantern
it is just works like canon 1dx top level class full frame camera!
Sure?

Conversion works for me with my 6D files but i am not sure about the en result.
@A1ex:does the cr2hdr need to be changed with data from other cameras?
I would love to upload the dual iso file now but it's not possible at the moment.
#105
You haven't read how the Dual ISO feature works and how to process it, right?

Good job with Dual ISO.
Does it work the same as the 5DIII regarding the processing of the files?

As you might have noticed this is an English board.
Anyway:

Enabling Wi-Fi gives you 255M of Shoot Memory instead of 151.
I think it is nice to know :)
#109
Yeah but if file size varies then for sure we got compression, even if it's lossless.
CR2 is compressed for sure, altough losslessly, and i think our DNGs are not compressed.
Let's see what you can come up with.
#110
Are the DNG frames compressed in any way?
Canon CR2 IS compressed, altough losslessly i think.
The fact that the file size in RAW goes up with high ISO is a clear demonstration of that.
It would be nice to know how it works but i guess everybody wants to know that.
#111
That is a huge difference! Impressive!

Every Canon has got that problem, if you use fps override.

What do you want to know?
It's Canon's old h.264 in a mov container, you are limited to full HD at 30p or 640*480 30p, that's it.
The footage is going to look pretty much like the one out of a 550D, given the same lens and settings.

So, what if i try poking the Digic on the 6D?
Any hint? I might have some free time tomorrow.
If you give me a hand i can try and do a bit of trial and error.

It doesn't need an 8-channel readout, but two separate analog amplifiers. The paper says:

Translation: at that time I knew how to program the cameras with 8-channel readout (because it was obvious) and I had no idea how to program the others, or whether they will work or not. Now I've discovered the missing bit from 5D2 and it works.

I still have no idea about the other cameras. I'd say the 6D has 99% chances to work, since 1% almost got it working, but I did not check the new trick on any other camera. Follow the ADTG thread and give it a try.
50D has got 2, from my pictures.
Right?

But I mean, make it so those other features aren't even part of the package. Just focus peaking, and audio meters.

Limit what can go wrong when I am shooting a wedding and the camera errors out.
Yes, build your own ML autoexec if you want this.

Can you keep the first post updated with downloads?

RAW module says 6D's max res is 1808x1224 but there is no way to get the sensor fully covered(not that it matters).
Also, is there a way to have the unused LV frame blacked out?

Hmm.. open it with audacity (or sound forge, sonar, pro-tools?) and re-save first.

The header is static so the real length isn't in there and may confuse plain old wav players.
Cool, i didn't know this.
#122
All good now, there is always some kind of conflict when you don't update the modules correctly.

If you play the WAV from camera everything is good.
If you play it on the computer they all have a lenght of 6 min and 15 sec and if you try and scroll further to the end you get an error.
I don't understand it :/
#124
Also, why is separate audio recording messing up with the lenght of the WAV file?
#125
I think there is a problem with one or more modules since the camera seems to boot fine when those are not loaded at the start.
