Canon doesn't need ML guys to implement RAW video. They intentionally leave it out of their DSLRs because they need to set their different camera lineups apart. They still want to be able to sell their cine cameras.
Etiquette, expectations, entitlement...

Hey guys. Here is my first attempt at the 5D Mark iii. I'm using the Dec 27th build and sometimes i have to remove and return the battery for the camera to boot (simply switching it on and off doesn't help) does anybody else have this issue?
ML is installed on a Toshiba SD card (30mbps) and footage goes to a Komputerbay 1050x 128GB card.
Thanks for your time guys and do have a Happy 'belated' New Year!

I'm a Little confused about Raw Modules.
(In fact, I am finish a movie in ML RAW during 4 months and I tried not change firmware from the beginning) .
- I upgrade ML in my 5D III.
- I found two similar modules: MLV RAW and RAW REC.
- Wich I have to use on Macintosh?
Any idea of thread (No technical please) can help me.

Well .. this is weird. It seems that the green channel is misaligned with the RB. I analyzed it in RAWDigger and it seems that the green channel is actually shifted.
So I processed with RawTherapee. In the method of demosaicing AMaZE, as expected, had the same effect, with a "grid." With VNG4 algorithm, the grid was eliminated altogether. In AMaZE I tried the alignment options in "green equilibration". Managed to pull off well.
Although he managed to solve, I not the faintest idea of why this happened.

.H264 film is comparable to JPEG Low in photo, just as RAW film is to .CR2 Large in photo. There is no data to recover, as white is white and black is black, for lack of better wording.
Quote from: avasarin on June 01, 2013, 09:56:55 AMAre you successfully joining the files?
Yes, I'm on Mac.
I don't understand the workflow behind this. You join the two pieces and the it becomes a single raw file and you convert in in raw2dng? If yes, how do you do it?
Quote from: avasarin on June 01, 2013, 09:15:13 AMI am using Mac OS X and can successfully join RAW files and convert to DNG.
Can you simply explain what you have done? Because I upgraded to the 31st may build and I did a 5Gb long video(split in two), but now I'm not able to join them. And when I try to convert the RAW file it gives me an error!
