Greetings, you are going to have to enable exposure override  in ML Expo menu and then adjust aperture as needed. You do have to be in movie rec mode and have ML brought up by pressing trashcan button on the 500d. I hope this helped.

Greetings, I was hoping that someone could tell me how to implement the auto ETTR feature on the 500d, I am using the latest nightly and could not find the feature in the menus. Thanks so much to all the devs who work on this awesome software.

Greg, could you explain exactly how to do that? I am not sure how to enable edmac... I am using the most recent nightly and I am really not sure if this is something that must be done on the 500D or on the computer, any help is greatly apreciated...
