***UPDATE*** I tried selecting CR2HDR as the processing application, it seemed like it was going to work but then I got an error stating that BarracudaGUI has stopped working. Now what?

Every time I attempt to use BarracudaGUI it initially asks me to select a post processing application. I do not understand what it wants me to select. Anyone?

Hey all. I'm VERY illiterate when it comes to Terminal and commands, scripts etc. I've been trying to figure out how to post process my MLV files. Thus far I am unsuccessful, have been doing a lot of reading, research, trial and error. Nothing will work for me. I have mlv_dump in a folder on my desktop along with my original .mlv files I need to process. I've tried the commands such as

cd desktop
cd mlv
./mlv_dump --dng M01-0705.MLV

this does NOTHING for me, only gives me an error message

" `_` is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file"

I'm at my wits end over this, just want to understand what EXACTLY I need to do in order to successfully process these .mlv files. Any suggestions or hints would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!

I apologize but I do not quite understand the color idea.  I know some people get annoyed with new guys asking what might be silly questions that have been answered elsewhere.  If so I would be glad to read or is this in the "manual?"

He's referring to the text at the bottom of the screen.

He said the very opposite. It has been removed from his build.
Unzip the file and go to the modules directory. There you will not see this module.
Therefore he requested to delete ML folder on the card and then copy the folder to the card. Copying without prior deleting the folder will keep the old (and invalid) Dual ISO module file.

Thanks Walter, I misunderstood what he had said. I am REALLY looking forward to Dual ISO!

Having an issue with Raw2dng.exe. It won't open properly. Once I click on it the window briefly opens then immediately closes. I've tried running as admin, doesn't make a difference. Any suggestions?

BTW, not blind...just like to live life large!!!

I'm new to ML, and am wondering how to shoot RAW video. I'm using the latest build from Satriani.

Before I install this build, can anyone tell me if the Exposure Menu is working on it? I'm mainly interested in the ISO settings. Thanks

@donjames150, thanks for the instructions. I was able to put ML on my T4i. I've noticed that the "EXPO" menu is not available in the version I installed. I was really looking forward to exploring the ISO half steps but am unable to. Does anyone know if/when that menu setting will be available for the T4i?

I checked to see if EOScard wrote any files. I noticed that after running EOScard that these files appear on my card:

ML (folder)
autoexec
ROM.dat
User Guide
INSTALL

Shall I delete all these files, then copy the Magic Lantern folder I made to the card, then insert into my camera and boot up?

This is what worked for me:

Create a magic lantern folder on your hard drive

Download http://nanomad.magiclantern.fm/650D/magiclantern-v2.3.NEXT.2013Apr30.650D.PreAlpha2.zip (unzip all files to your ml folder on your hard drive)

On your camera select menu, first wrench icon, format card

download https://bitbucket.org/hudson/magic-lantern/src/99bd629f7c5712346369840e64c04fd2d4576520/platform/650D.101/devkit/650D-safe-dumper.fir?at=unified, then copy the .fir file to your card and put it back in the camera.

With the cam in manual mode, go to last wrench setting before star, fimware ver, set,  select ok, then my menu settings will read enablebootdisk

Put your card in the computer and download http://pel.hu/down/EOScard.exe and run this program

Check EOS Devlop and Bootdisk boxes, save

Check the card, if EOS card wrote any files, delete them

Copy from your ML folder these files: ML folder, autoexec.bin and 650D-safe-dumper.fir to your card

Put card in camera and press the trashcan button after it boots, then the left arrow button to the left of the set button

I tried this, now my camera won't turn on as long as the card is in the camera. Did I brick the camera, or corrupt the card?

How do I install ML onto my 650D?

Can you be more specific? Are you implying that there is a download for ML for the T4i? If so, where? Direct link?

You couldn't give me a straight answer? Instead just direct me to the Troll Questions? I understand that ML is developed on your "free time", I'm only curious as to why ML has not yet been developed for the T4i, and when we can expect to see it available. A week, a month, never?

When will Magic lantern be available for the T4i/650D?
