Here they are:

:)

Now i need some help undersanding this.

I've tried editiding the original CR2 file and however i underxpose that picture or move the shadow and highlights faders I can never see all this details of clouds in the middle of the picture as you can see with the dual iso one.

The original picture is iso 100 right? I mean by iso 100 you get as much detail as you can on the light side. and by iso 3200 you get as much detaill as you can on the dark side. Right? How come after you cr2dhr the dual iso there is more detail on the bright side?? there are clouds that I can never see on the original picture! Wouldnt those clouds need lower iso than 100 to appear?

Edit* Nevernind I think i figure it out. It seems from ACR that on the dual iso one you lowered the shutter speed from 125 to 1600. The comparison is not all that fair after all!

But stll what an amazing feuture that is!

It seems the iso base mode is working fine again if i disable autoexpo mode though. but the dual iso problem remains.

Ok my bad with autoexpo! I just discovered what autoexpo does! I think the only problem is the one with the dual iso!

Iso base will change in liveview mode but not in photomode.
Iso base will not change even with dual iso off
and still will not change even with dual iso module Not loaded.

When? Where? What ISO? The base or the "recovery" ISO value?

LiveView? or Photo mode?

The base iso on photo mode for sure, though havent tried live view yet

Have fun guys :)

It seems there is an error with dual iso. When activated it write on top of the screen ~isoless error ph -2~

After though i rebooted the camera 2-3 times it seemed to work

and then  it started again, Something doesnt sit!

Dvxclub, why would you the Technicolor profile when you can use raw?
#33
guys some of you are acting as if rewind does this on purpose. Maybe he has an older model of the same card or maybe he knows of an older model which acually does that speed or maybe he doesnt! Say the things better if you know them but I really dont see the point of rudeness here?

Rewind thanks man for your contribution on this, really you all guys are amazing!

Green dots!? Can you provide a picture? Has anyone else had this problem yet?

https://www.dropbox.com/s/6p287wanfk6ehob/650D.104-TEST.zip

I have not seen any green dots here. tested with iso 100

If its any help, I tested both 99 and 78 builds and both show no pink or green dots for that matter
#36
well works fantastic for me here!!

wait do you actually mean there are green dots? cause I see non on my test

I think I've fixed the pink dot issue, would be nice if someone could test this on a 650D (I don't have one, but the 700D is pretty much the same)

https://bitbucket.org/hudson/magic-lantern/pull-request/184/700d-650d-remove-pink-dots-from-raw/diff

I dont know if the fix is included in the build satriani just compiled an hour ago or so but in this build i still get pink dots

Don't you think we should somehow make sticky a post or in a some way inform the rest of the people who just came here about the pink dots?

Ok forget everything I said, just follow the guide from start to end. Then delete the fir and forget about it. Even when updating builds

nanomad :)

You now sometimes when you know too much of something trying to make it simple to others who don't, can actually make it harder!

Seems to work great for me here mate! It's even easier now with direct raw proccesing. and it seems faster too? or maybe just my idea!

I'm not able to connect the dots and would really appreciate some help ...

Resolution in RAW movie mode is limited to 1728 pixel horizontal with 650D. Right?
Why I'm not able to select a higher resolution after decreasing fps?

Ciao, Walter
I'm not exactly sure what you mean but I know there is a definitive limit to the resolution which comes from the live preview.
#45
Looking forward to the new update for better support for crop mode too!

btw 1280*720 crop mode on 650D doesnt work with pinkdotremover with eosm_crop. is this resolution not divisible by 4?

edit, it works after i downloaded the latest raw2dng.exe

You know I've been wondering on changelog on satriani page you can also see changes and fixes for other cameras too. eg 7D 600D and so on. I was under the impression that this was a port only for 650D right? Can you actually install the same build on a 7D for example?

Thanks a lot, but keep it low, my friend :)

This just an interesting image processing job, done in a well defined Java environment with virtually unlimited resources like memory, time and processing power. This is nothing compared to the embedded, reverse-engineering development that the real ML developers do...

Anyway, I'm glad that some of guys find that little tool useful... makes it even more fun to code :)

My friend, maybe technically on that matter you are not as deep as the ML guys, which of course you are right, but practicely you are a legend, you gave us a way to use raw even if thats maybe temporary, cause you never know! the other legends on the ML side might discover something! (they always do, dont they?) What am saying is that you give hope to this project just like the rest of the guys! and also indirectly helping the developers by taking our minds of the pink dots so leaving them developers do what they do best! :)

Debug version:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/22843507/MagicLantern/PinkDotRemover_debug.zip

@papkee:
Does this version solve your issue with pixels not being properly removed @ 1472x626?

@donjames150:
Does this version work with spaces in the directory name for you?

@demetrisag:
If you're lucky this version could solve your database-not-found issue as well... give it a shot, please...

Extremely well mate! you are a legend!
