I personally think that 63 levels is too much, too many clicks to adjust levels, Say for example my Panasonic P2 Broadcast camera that has build in XLR connectors and good
Preamps, plus a Headphone jack has only 14 levels, 21 levels is fine but 63 ???
Another thing , Was great to test  this but, the feature external and internal mic , can lead to mistakes I will not use it.

while true since the on cam pre-amps suck..... i can't think of a single reason any human would ever need it to go that high... at the same time, single increments helps with fine tuning, allowing you to find that sweet spot.

By the way, I added the feature to go from Internal Mic to External mic and vice versa while an Internal Mic is plugged in, but is it really of any use to do that? If there is, I will keep it in the module.

Only advantage is if for some reason you want to quickly switch to your internal mics without messing with the mic plug on cam if one is plugged in, but again, does anyone ever do that?

I can't do anything cool like putting int on one channel and ext on another channel, just the basic disable external mic while it is still plugged in.

leave it in. between this and the audio meters, if for whatever reason your ext mic is NOT detected (or on), then you have visual feedback. can be great for troubleshooting a mic, cable or port issue.

That portion is being worked on, but if you want to kill AGC now, do not shoot video in any Auto mode. switch to manual, for example. and in the Canon menu, you can adjust the gain levels there.  My cam isn't on me atm, so i can't give you specifics, except the audio options you are looking for are in the video section of the canon menu.

still have to heavily test before the next convention that would require me to use my camera, but really happy/excited for the possibilities.

15+ minutes in live view photo with no problems yet.... using various modes, especially manual and a+.

will try video later tonight.

Also, with the histogram on, it appears, flickering, in the ML menus.

with movie crop mode on, tapping the magnifying glass behaves as if you hit the info button. some items disappear, but hitting info brings them back.

beyond that, pretty solid so far.... closing in on 30 minutes with no lockups

Yeah, it is working same as it was when I was on version 111, I am not sure if you can even test it without installing the bootflag though and I believe that is only possible with a fir file the Devs make, I think I can use it because I already had it installed before I updated to 113.

So I don't know what the next step is, alls I can say is the port is working and I have been using it the last hour and I can't tell a difference from before I updated, more testers will be useful of coarse to find any glitches?

So not sure where to go from here?

I wont push it to Repo unless I get the ok because I made that mistake to many times and got the devs a bit angry for rushing pushes.  :-[

But its a start having it working and knowing its ready when the Devs tell me what to do with it.

I did have in installed pre 1.1.3 as well.

I'd love to test the audio meters, and they would be useful this week while at CES, but because I need stability for CES, I can't risk it :(

Very excited to have meters while recording though, it'll help for interviews :)

yeah, unless the new firmware is dumped, there is nothing you can do. Curious what Canon updated with this small rev jump.

Well I'm damned if I can find anything like Misc Key settings anywhere. Another problem is that ML will not let me record RAW video at all no matter what king of setting I use, manual, auto, any res, PAL or NTSC; I get some kind of coloured graph with a line telling me that 40 odd frames were taken and '1 frame skipped' in red. There was a warning once that recording had stopped and that it was a bug that I should report. Normal and HDR video have no problems.
Perhaps we should cool down the hysteria a bit and let you guys do the thing in your own good time; I'm sure it will all come out beautifully in the end.

I "think" that just means your SD card is too slow.... I can get roughly 70-90 frames before I get the same error using 720p and down. anything higher and it conks out is 1-5 frames flat. I could be wrong, just what I experienced.

My 1st DSLR and 1st shot with Magic Lantern.... LOVE IT!

Only issue I have had, and I may just be blind, is what if I want to remove the bootflag?

That and I need a faster card for RAW video....but that is my problem!
