Tried to use my Eye-fi card today.  My 550D would not turn on.  Works with my wifes 500, however, she does not have ML installed. 

Do I just load Canon firmware again and try?

Is there are Eye-fi type SD cards that work with ML?

Thanks Alex, I found a solution.  Found ML reset, removed card and battery, and then put them back, turned on (took awhile) and bingo.  Works.

Have no idea what the cause was, but it is working.

Tried every menu and everything is set to view.  Even tried "Hold" setting in Canon menu and still will not display after shot.  It will manually and works fine without ML .

I have a 550D with 6/5 nightly.  I can not get the image review to work.  I have to manually do it.  It works if not using ML.

What do I do ?

I have a very limited budget also.  I have found using some great lenses at almost giveaway prices.  They are from Sears or old  Pentax film cameras.

50mm 1.7, 22mm 2.8, 135mm are some of my favaroites.  I was able to buy 4 lens, film camera, bag and other stuff for about $40.

Of course you need an adapter, but they are $10 or less.

No auto focus, but can use the ML spot and it works great with those adapters that have a chip.

Try delay by at least 5secs.  When the Intervalometer is still in the ML menu, then hit set button.  May be a different button sense my camera is a 550D.

Make sure to coopy and paste all of the files to your root dir ?

Maybe motion detect works on certain lens.  Anybody else have this problem?

Forgot to mention that I am using a 550D and 300mm Quantam zoom.

Using the 6/12 build.  Cannot get motion detect to work.  Tried all different settings. Get one pic of birds coming to the feeder.

Tried high and low on sensitivity.  Detect size large to small.  Frame diff, Exposure change, and Steady hands.  all don't work.

Have used it on the older version and worked fine.

Looking for suggestions.

Alex, what software do you use?

Took a bright light and very long needle and push something just in front of upper pin.  It snapped back and bingo.  Put the new 32gb card in and it worked.

Got a new 32gb SD card today.   Put in the it 550D and it tells me card not insert or format the card.

Put the old 16g /ML and it works.  Put the 32 gb into my wifes 500d which has never had ML on it, and it works fine.

Do I need to uninstall ML for my 550D?

I  have a 550d, being using 5/13 nitely, and have no problems.  Have loaded a new card after adding boot flag .. no problem. 

Have a 550.  Please let me know if you have any luck.  Don't know scripting but willing to try.

Always have had problems with stack focus.

My camera is a Canon 550.

Today when putting the SD card in the camera it seemed to drag on something.  Tried another card and it went in but wouldn't stay.

So got a light and looked in card compartment and didn't see anything.  So I took a long needle and pushed the back of where the card goes in and it seemed to click.  Put my card in and it stayed.  Turned camera on and it worked.  However, the card will not eject.  I have to grab it and pull out manully. 

Is this something I can fix or just leave it alone?

I have had to disable USB card reader drivers and reload to slove the problem. 

Have you checked the lock on the side of the card.  Sometimes my gets accidentally bumped to lock.

I would really like to know what you are doing with that amount of exposures?

Using a 550D and Transcend sdhc 10 16gb card.  This is what I got for a crash report.
