i had the same problem, luckily i had the last version of the nightly build that i put on my 1100D, on my computer and i put the files back on my card and it works again

I've been waiting for this firmware to come out now for so long. Please Please Please work on it!! I'm gonna be stuck with this camera for quite some time and as you know it's capabilities are very minimal and limited so pleaaaaaaaase get this firmware up and running !
