After verification:  nightly build of 01/08 is ok for modules, and when i replace by 01/09 files, Modules menu disappear .
Wait for your comments, and many thanks for all this work... :)

When I first loaded 01/09 I had modules but then when I powered on and off the camera again it disappeared and hasnt come back...

I have to also say my thanks in this big leap for the movie side of Magic Lantern, getting those audio meters to work, thank you thank you thank you.

Not to say that all the amazing work that the other devs have done has gone un-noticed I use many of them on a daily basis so a big thanks to you guys as well. ^_^

And HOW would you do it?

well a few of the more higherend canons and nikons already do this and Im assuming its doing it digitally and since Magic Lantern has brought higher end camera features to budget friendly cameras, maybe the same can happen here by figuring out how the more expensive cameras do it and seeing if it can be compiled and reproduced for the budget cameras.

my thoughts is if we could control the opening and closing of the shutter this could come in handy for all sorts of applications, for example a trick for fire works is to set the camera to bulb mode so the shutter stays open and you use a black card that you can cover your lens to act as a shutter so you can layer multiple fire works, well why not do that electronically with the actual shutter and have the ability to open and close the shutter but stay on the same exposure as many times as you want before stating your done?

Also I tried searching for this but wasnt able to find a request like what Im looking for. ^^;;

I would like to see this feature for the 650D / T4i

not sure if this has been talked about as a possible solution for those wanting higher resolution but what about shooting video at say 4k but using Canon mov format? would it then be possible to film with that compression verses attempting it in Raw since this camera can barely handle 720p?

Edit: lol to that joke of a PM by a faceless individual which doesnt offer the ability to rebuttal, I did try searching but well lets face it the forum search functions ability is well a joke and then when you try to refine the search you cant or you have to wait, it was a legit question of possible "development" for the camera, I mean as stated its a development thread so coming up with alternative solution/ideas to work around this particular cameras limitations would be part of it right? ~_~

Did my question get deleted? WTF it was a valid question with the previous comments having issues with 128gb cards, I was wondering if the card I was looking at would work fine with the 650D and ML.... ~_~

has anyone have any experience with Komputerbay 128GB SDXC from what I can see they use either Samsung or Micron for the actual memory chip and reads and writes seem pretty decent and of all the card has the best listing price.

Just came across this "Audio Remote Shoot" is this still a feature in ML, will we see this feature one day assuming we overcome the audio issues? just curious :)

Is there a way or could this be added that with "Motion Detect" when it is triggered have it burst a series of photos? and have us have the ability to set how many photos to quickly be taken when its triggered?

Edit: never mind, under "Shoot Preferences" it looks like I set it there for "Motion Detect". :)

Edit 2: hmm it seems pretty slow compared to the cameras typical burst speed, is there a way to make it faster?

I was wondering would it be possible to change the advanced bracketing feature so that when its used its put into its own folder maybe something like HDR001, HDR002 and so on each time you do a sequence, man that would make things easier when you go to off load the memory card and you dont have to go through all the photos to figure out when one sequence ends and another starts. ^^;;

9) I see a "G" menu in your screenshot. What is that, and is it part of the build?

G is the game menu, so when you load a game module onto ML that menu becomes visible. :)

Who can explain me how i can remove the pink dots thx

1. make sure you have java installed
2. download pinkdotremover
3. launch pinkdotremover
3. and open your raw video file
4. press convert
5. you may see nothing happen thats normal just wait patiently until a pop up window comes up saying its done
6. do whatever editing you want to images

for more detail check out

Does anyone know if this has been resolved yet? I'm scared to update since the advanced bracketing is the main ML feature that I use ^^

I'm also wondering if that release was taken down since it was reported by him to be "broken", he said sept. 19 release but the newest I see is from the 18th..

I know I am having some issues when I manually select how many photos to take, if I leave it on Auto for the number of pics to be taken it works great but when I pick say 5 instead of bracketing it just burst out 5 photos.

so is there any chance to implement sRAW (mRAW) feature of more expensive cameras into 650D ?

I think there was some mention of issues with this but not 100% sure on this... Oh I think it was because you can take silent pictures which is like half the resolution of a normal raw but in dng form that there wasnt a point to add a mRaw and sRaw....

Hey dhilung, sorry unrelated to the module but I was wondering what did you use for panning the video during the timelapse?

I cant wait when ML will start working on a touch friendly interface since it seems like all the new DSLR will have the touch screen ability. :) For now I like what your suggesting here.

I like this idea, so like if you happen to step a side for a bit and come back you can get an idea of its progress. :)
