Just press escape. Sorry, I should have mentioned that.

Thanks,
resolution etc. seem to be bugs in mlv_dump, which Son of Batch MLV uses. Will look into it.

Try turning off "Fix Black Level" in MLV Module in Camera. That fixed the tint stuff for me.

I don't think the read-out is accurate enough.

Raw Video / Re: RCA monitoring on the 5D mk iii

I checked on the 550d unified 2.3. Right now, when you switch to headphone monitor there is no video signal. Don't know if this can be changed. It would be an awesome feature.

Hi,
I've some problems to convert the format mlv with MLVConverter in OSX.
will "Son of Batch" be implemented with this function?
Thanks
Eventually, yes. But it'll take some time, I am busy with other things for a while. Thanks for your interest.

You're my hero 1%! I'm willing to take a risk because I have a 550d as an h264 backup. Will test before. I have 2 32gb Komputerbays, one's behaving like a naughty child. Can you sum up for me real quick how to install on the 7D. Again, sorry, but I can't read all the posts because I have to prepare for the shoot.

Thanks also arrinkiii, love your Marley. Here's a track I recorded with my brother and some friends:

Thanks everyone else too. Will post results.

Sorry for not reading every post, I have a 50D. We have a shoot on thursday and friday with my 50D and a 7D. Is the 7D build stable enough or should I stick to H264?

Many thanks in advance.

@father_v

Nice writeup. I had a shoot recently and used my app "Son of Batch" on a macbook pro to review clips. You can scrub through raw files and make proxies. It's not perfect yet but usable. It was pretty helpful to show the client stuff or to just make sure a tricky shot was in the can. If you're on a mac, check it out:

Exciting news about prototype, :) guys!

Sorry to bump in guys,
I was away from forum a little, have a question if you can help me with.

Current new set up is 2 x 50D and BMCC multi camera set up.

I ll be filming cinemascope 2.39 with all three camera RAW , BMCC will be A camera and 50D'S mounted on Jib and Steady cam and/or slider simultaneously  .

Question is can 50D be activated to record RAW from remote button or any other ways, wish to be able to record  while keeping an eye on 7" monitor on my jib,
not having to go every time on "Action" and play with camera ,apart from focus thing.

Thanks for your help and yes I am 50D supporter ;) long life to ML!

I think you can set recording to start with half shutter, which is remotely triggerable.

Raw Video / Re: RAW liveview on PC monitor via USB

On 50D I still had raw + usb at the same time.. just had to bypass the screen resizing.

Is that something we can do in a setting (bypass resizing)? Or could you code a version with that option? I don't quite get it. It would be really great to monitor via usb while shooting raw!

Thanks. I'll look into the back button thing. What do you mean by desqueeze. Does it show the wrong aspect ratio now? Please post a screen shot.
If you want to go up one folder just press escape or click on the path above the source list.

The latest Tragic Lantern 2.0 for the 50D is up: https://bitbucket.org/andy600/tl50d/downloads/Tragic.Lantern-2.0-Andy600.Build.2013Aug27.50D109.zip

Includes several important fixes.
Thanks 1% and Andy600 for the new build! Is there a link where we can see commit changes? Somehow I can't find it on bitbucket.
Cheers

Hey Derkiki. You might know this. Is it possible to recover the RAW files that raw2dmg deletes? I should've used Son of Batch. I was going to. But I figured what's the point, when raw2dng works just fine. Well, guess what, sometimes it works, and other times it deletes raw files without creating dmgs first. Derkiki please let me know if there is any way to recover raw files.

Sorry, I don't know how you could recover those. That's why "Son of Batch" doesn't delete the originals.
Good luck

Try Son of Batch
http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=7266.0

You can scrub through RAW files (not spanned ones yet).
It's alpha, so please try it first before using it on your shoot.
Let me know how it works.
Cheers

Hi jc,
I use realbasic and modify raw2dng etc., so, not sure if you can work with that. I'd also have to clean up my messy code a little.
#22
Great suggestions and thanks for your praise. I haven't got any time to work on it right now but will look into it.
The dng sequences don't play in realtime right now but you can scrub them pretty quickly.

When downloading a batch of files from one particular folder it pauses during the conversion of each and throws up this error:

http://grab.by/p980

When I click ok it returns to the conversion and then throws the same error up for each .RAW from that file.
Does anyone know what this error means? Is it corrupting/skipping frames on those .RAWs?

No, it's a display error only. The conversion should be ok.

Nice! Works with dual-iso files as well. Cool stuff.
When trying to open File, ´open´This occurs

WHen digging to deep and fast into folders i got this

or maybe It was the other way around. However. I moved my file to the root of the external disk and everuthings worked fine.
Good work. I,ll check your t-shirt :)
Thanks Danne. For now, don't use File>open. Doubleclick source files or drag them to the output queue.
