Man it's sound like you might have something loose in your camera and it not grounding properly. I have a similar issue when I use a recorder and I use a cheap USB adapter to power it. I get a lot of noise in the camera out and line out.

there are monitors with HDMI out / SDI out.

ill agree with you, i had a gig this past Sunday and we used a small hd monitor directly from the 5d mk3 then from there we connect to a hdmi splitter to a bank of field monitor for our dp and director. it was my first time using a set up like that and aside from the tons of hdmi cables i was a great set up.

Same here, seems to me like the camera needs time to collect it self after a shooting a timelapse.

if leave it alone for a minute it comes back to normal, other wise i have to shut it off a few time to get the screen to show a live feed again.

Time for a second pre-alpha.
This one is targeted at those that already have the bootflag enabled on the camera.

Instructions:
- Do a low-level format of the SD card (DO NOT SKIP THIS)
- Enable SD card bootflag using EOSCard or similar
- Copy over the files to the SD card

Known issues:
- Full screen magic zoom is broken

Stuff I'd like to be tested:
- Card benchmark under the debug / benchmarks menu (Post a screenshot if you do)
- HDR video (check if all the frames are in sync, e.g. no half exposed frames). Do this at every possible resolution / fps combination
- Everything else

Build still has props off, so expect some bugs here and there

If you really want to make your camera bootable you can use the devkit available on the repository inside the 650D platform folder). JUST DO NOT RUN THE FIR IN MOVIE MODE, USE PHOTO MODE AND TURN THE DIAL TO M

So for those that don't have the boot flags enabled we are not able to run this pre alpha?

Sharp lenses make sharp images... put your money in the glass. Also DSLR produces a great image in low light and you have the bonus of a creamy archival quality image that doesn't look flattened out. My experience is that a wedding is a staged event and with planning and use of jibs and sliders you convey much more of the emotional aspect of the event than with zoom on the fly.

I agree your glass is key, I can't stress how many amateur photographers I see with 5d's but only one lens in there camera bag. I've saved my money and use a rebel for years and now I have an arsenal of 12 lenses and 2 t4i's.

Idk why this message board is flooded with dumb question. It's should be just for the developers and testers. More you ask longer it take! I don't say much bc I'm patient but I don't like that the ppl that are putting in work to be upset. Let them get it done when it gets done!

No idea, it's too early to speculate on that

New to ML but I have tons of friends in the film industry that use it.
I bought two canon t4i's and I have was hoping that with ml I will help me take my photography to the next level, and add film making to my repertoire.

Thanks to Ml team and all the supporters.

I will be making a contribution to ml when ever possible.
