Great steady cam work brother and I like the color grading you did for this particular shoot.

Also I thought the location Excellent to be in the parking structure because with the available lighting there and with the help of RAW video, it definitely got the job done!

Well done!

Hi,

can you briefly explain, how to use the dual Iso video with ML? do i have to set some specific ajusments?

thx
Absolutely.

I'll try to keep it as simple as possible...do you have the lastest nightly built for ML? (I am currently using Nov.11 build)

If so, then you would want to make sure that the Modules are on for both Raw Video recording as well as Dual ISO. You can find them under the Modules section in your ML menu.

Then scroll to the Expo section (2nd to the left screen on ML menu) Be sure to turn on Dual ISO and your preferred settings. (KEEP IN MIND THAT IT ALSO REQUIRES FOR YOU TO HAVE RAW VIDEO RECORDING ON otherwise!)

You may also want to look into the ETTR which I think its an amazing feature that definitely helps in certain shooting situations whereas heavy DR is involved. Which also has to be turned on in the Module section as well.

Would be glad to answer any more questions if needed to.

*cheers*

To be able to manually turn on or off the PowerSaving mode...

I thought of an idea -- if you want to be able to have control over this with out the expense of giving up the actual INFO menu sections.

Perhaps can we use the button that usually turns on the back light on the top right LCD viewer?

Or has this already been discussed somewhere in the forum that I may have missed?

If so, I apologize but it can't hurt to share...

Thanks to A1ex & ML

At :14 seconds, the girl has some sort of scar on her arm.. I wonder if you could've spot healed that out since shes not really moving.  Not a big deal and only someone like me would notice it, but it would be cool to try--in terms of utilizing the power of RAW video.

Funny cuz I thought the same...I'm sure it is possible!

Hello Magicians,

Here I thought of an idea to show as much DR as possible by shooting in Raw Video with ML while riding in the back of a city bus.

Will be sharing Dual ISO Video tests as well when I can.

Thanks A1ex and the ML crew...

Enjoy!

Love the fact the this camera of yours is 5 years old and yet it still annihilates most of the current ones out there!

Thanks for sharing and special THANKS for A1ex and the ML crew!

@Francis... I have a website that is hosted through Zenfolio.com and I have videos on it that I would like to get it embedded into the Forums.

Would it be possible if I could do it?

Since it says only it works on YouTube or Video and I read that I could contact you guys to find out.

Thanks!

Thanks @painya!

I honestly thought Flickr would get the job done but their BB code wouldn't just work on this forum or maybe Im doing something wrong?

I'll use upload.ee for now although it only stays on for 120 days.

Thanks again.

So it looks like we have to stick with the old method which is to use Raw2dng and then edit the dng's in LR5 and then export as TIFF's and THEN export as Image Sequence into QT7 for final EXPORT into .mov format for viewing.

Correct?

Not that I do mind...I actually am addicted to this workflow but again I wouldn't mind the ease of having to edit native MLV files directly in CC ONLY if it weren't for the pink/greyed out issue.

Which plug in's would be best for Mac's Adobe CC or LR5?

Happy Shooting and god bless ML!
