Can someone direct me to a link that explains how to go about installing the latest version of ML for the 5D Mark iii firmware version 1.2.3?

Then there is no need to translate a string which will add up to user confusion: Just copy section header strings to synopsis.

Still not seeing the benefit, though. Might be more convincing if you have an example showing a synopsis actually helping.

The synopsis strings doesn't match with their sections. Makes no sense to me to translate them.

The whole concept is a little bit beyond my understanding: Each section has a header telling what will be found in it. Good so far. And if a section is closed there will be a second text but why? Cannot see the benefit.

And here we go again ...
You need three things to make ML work:
1. Cam with bootflag set (has to be done once)
2. Bootable card (has to be set once for each card and done again if boot option is lost (format via PC/cardreader))
3. ML files on card (Autoexec.bin and ML directory)

@kichetof: Do you have some kind of time table/milestones in mind about 2.2RC/2.2 final? Having some ideas to discuss and not sure if it's a good idea to press them into 2.2 or scheduling them to a release after that.

Card must be bootable. This is enabled by EOScard or by running firmware upgrade again. Depends on how you made your first card bootable.

Try a third one. Junk readers (or just outdated ones) are widely spread. I recommend Kingston FCR-HS3.

Some people may not even start to think about counterfeited batteries, how wide-spreaded they are and the things those actually can do to their cams.

Do you have half an hour and language skills beyond mine? First one may be tough, second one a no-brainer.
Please locate TranslatedStrings_en.txt inside your plug-in folder or here and give it a makeover. Get rid of those blanks at the end of sentences, change odd translation into proper english. In short: Create the text you want to read!

If you don't want to dive into Bitbucket you may post your results here.
If you got stuck with LR terminology: Take a look into "Export to harddisk" and feel free to follow your guts.

True. Custom keywords will be added if a second export takes place. Dual-ISO will show up, though. Is there a parameter for cr2hdr?

Q about GUI consistency

1. Most plug-ins don't have a dedicated header section (upper frame to the right) in Plug-In Manager interface. Seems like Jeffrey Friedl is using this a lot: feedback options, log transfer, info buttons (frankly: GUI design not always convincing). Potential there, I think.
2. Title (left window) and section headers doesn't match. Is the license info about cr2hdr, plug-in or both?

Well, kichehof gave his best but german and english doesn't look that well right now (he will be the first to agree with this, I suppose).
I'm working over german text right now but I think we will need some iterations to find a proper GUI style. My command of french language is non existent. Not that easy to solve this puzzle.
Bit of stuck with the "cr2hdr export finished" box translation. Will work it over soon.

Here is an old dog trying to learn a new trick: Dived into Bitbucket and created my first pull request.
Did I have followed the procedure correctly or messed up?

Don't have a 600D to reproduce but stored ML settings may interfere here.
Delete/rename ML directory and copy ML dir to card and overwrite AUTOEXEC.BIN.
Results still the same?

Okay, paranoia mode is idle now.
Made a test bed catalog just for fun ... <g>
