Raw Video / Re: Which camera to buy?
March 01, 2015, 07:08:54 PM
60D card speed is limited to about 20 MByte/s. You can buy a fast card but it would be waste of money.

WTF is misleading there?
Please just follow those instructions.

Why are you answering other persons questions? Please describe your problem in detail.
Is there LED activity of any kind? Are you able to test battery with another cam? Is a battery grip involved?

Which steps have you done trying to solve the riddle?

You will find installation instructions and all links needed in the nightly build section for your cam.

Delete ML directory and AUTOEXEC.BIN, copy extracted nightly contents to card and retry.

That's not quite right. Some USB 3.0 cardreaders may need firmware update to support UDMA-7.
Therefore: There are USB 3.0 cardreaders able to damage the card. Run a web search and you will find several issues.

Which resolutions do you have for 1:1 liveview with RAW_REC.mo and/or MLV_REC.mo?

Card's memory size and file size doesn't matter. Tried with 32 and 64 GByte.
As far as I can tell you did nothing wrong. I'm afraid this is something for the camera emergency department.

Format card in camera ("keep ML"), copy 650D_104.fir to card and retry.

Delete Autoexec.bin, 650D_104.fir and ML directory from card and copy extracted nightly contents to card. Retry.
If this doesn't work:
Reset camera to factory defaults (including C.Fn) and retry.

Your version is?
I used photo mode and dial on M.

If you do this a second time do you still get the message "Bootflag is already set"?

Works for me, too. No problem recording +80 GBytes.

It doesn't matter if your interface is 2.0 or 3.0. The important thing is to use cardreaders supporting UDMA-7! As label on CFcard case provided by KB tells.

Doesn't have anything to do with ExFAT or FAT32. Please check your file system again.

120 GiByte = 128,849,018,880 Byte

Storage manufacturers are using
kilo = 1000
Mega = 1000 x 1000
Giga = 1000 x 1000 x 1000

Computers use
kilo = 1024
Mega = 1024 x 1024
Giga = 1024 x 1024 x 1024

First post is valid and the only version for 6D is called "6D.113" for this very reason.

I read it. And there's absolutely no way to "unhide" them, not even for testing purposes? ;)
Ok, what you wanna say is: it can brick the cam? I'm willing to test it anyway...

Imagine standing outside a mine field and telling the sweepers in it to jump to the next patch.

Pic in first post is tricky. Don't expect this to work out of the box.

Other snapshots are quite easy: http://wiki.magiclantern.fm/userguide#menu_screenshots
Info is a bit outdated. File format is PPM for stills.

Replay is choppy because hardware performance is quite limited.
