3x crop *is* 1:1 recording without skipped pixels inside the active/recorded area.

whether to run dual ISO in the video mode?
This function works on the 5dm3.
there is a possibility in other models?

The only nightly builds *not* having this option are those for 50D and 7D.

I'm afraid there is no clarifying but rather some confusion ...
grey, are you referring to this reply? http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=3904.msg139243#msg139243

I don't think this is the place to teach photography basics. In short: Aperture open + short focus distance -> DOF very small.
Doesn't help 10-24 at the open end has very soft corners. Look it up in www.lenstip.com or www.slrgear.com

Not able to analyze first set.
9438 in second set demonstrates how small DOF works. And (maybe) has backfocus issue. But could be misinterpretation caused by lens' corner softness.

EDIT: Take a look at http://www.dofmaster.com/dofjs.html and see what happens with short focus distance. And don't forget these numbers doesn't work for 100 percent view (pixel peeping). DOF will get shorter the closer you look

Sorry to say but it looks like this card is not able to record 720p24 continuously. If you have a decent cardreader connected by a fast interface you may benchmark your card. Don't know which one to use in OS X. I use Windows based Crystaldiskmark most of the time and h2testw to confirm card's label.
#6631
Looks like benchmark didn't terminate properly. No output file, then.
Did you manage to run playback mode? If so: Give highest number for write, please.
#6632
Did a very quick test. ML will not actuate focus motor during DOF brackets.
Tried to trick ML to refocus but it would just ignore if focus distance changes or if there are objects between focussed item and camera after mirror went up for the first time.

If you have set where an error is visible, I will try to take a second look. But those images you provided didn't show the effect you described.

*Most* readers with USB 3.0 are ok. Some may require firmware update. Others may kill your card. And it doesn't matter if connected to computer by USB 2.0 or 3.0.
You need UDMA-7 compatibility. If you find "UDMA" only: Stay away.
Only exception I know: Kingston FCR-HS3. Nothing to read about UDMA-7 but recommended by KB support.
Other decent readers: http://www.cameramemoryspeed.com/reviews/card-readers/
Unfortunatly no KB cards in their lists.

51 MByte/s. Not a problem with a decent card.
About 39 minutes using 128 GByte card.

The one compiled by you.
#6637
I don't think this is causing the error. It was just something I came across trying to solve your issue. Focus distance in EXIF data would have been helpful but no avail.
Will try to reproduce but haven't found time yet.
#6638
Think about it. Most of your confusion cames from watching tutorials ... Conclusion? See reply #3.

I *have* mentioned Benchx.PPM.
Now turn Global Draw off, start benchmark and press Play button just after starting.
Convert resulting PPM to JPG and upload it somewhere (Picload.org or else). Link it here.
#6639
Formatting a card gives you an option to select the file system and you should use ExFAT (as in reply #15).
If you don't know how: Google.

Benchmark has 3 different modes: Photo, video and playback. And - for now - playback mode we need. Turn Global Draw off for this test.

You should be able to find infos about PPM file format and how to handle it by googling around.

Now press menu button.

MLV/RAW? Settings used? File system used on card? Have you tried lower resolutions/frame rates? If so: Which one gives you continuous recording?
Go to Debug tab -> Benchmarks -> Card R/W benchmark (5 min). Start it and press PLAY button. After benchmark terminated you will find BENCHx.PPM on card's root. Report results for highest write rate.
#6644
Please access ML menu -> Focus tab, then enter liveview and focus by half-press shutter button. Press trashcan button and look for focus distance infomation. I suppose Tamron 10-24 does not report back focus distance.
#6645
This will give you f/13 and f/18 stopped down. And in 1:1 (100%) viewed on a computer you may start to see blur caused by diffraction.
Are you able to zip a sample set of your unaltered CR2/JPG files, upload zip somewhere and link here?
#6647
Please tell which aperture number you set.
#6648
Will try to reproduce.
BTW: Why AF and not using manual focussing?

And more info please! Bracketing sequence settings, aperture, shutter timing, tripod used?
Magic Lantern version info?

SD-card interface in 5D3 is limited to about 21 MByte/s. For 1080p24 you need about 83 MByte/s.
Enough said.
