Dev team made a decision some time ago *not* to touch Canon's pro gear and that means anything with a C in front and all 1D family members.
Concludes with some hints about Canon wanting to go to war with anyone messing up with this kind of gear.

Well, there is this thing with timezones, you know?

550D/600D, I suppose.

You may access Top of page -> Downloads -> Browse Nightly Builds -> Select your flavour and read instructions.

But it may be just an non-bootable card. Run EOScard/MacBoot, make card bootable. Delete cards content (don't format) and copy nightly contents to card once more. Startup cam with card in it.

1.) Prefs tab -> Config files -> Restore ML default
2.) Restart cam
3.) Activate Silent.mo
4.) Restart cam
5.) Put cam to M mode
6.) Activate FRSP (Shoot tab -> Silent Picture -> Silent Mode -> Full-res)
7.) Activate Liveview
8.) Press shutter half

Results?

RAW: Image format.
Dual-ISO: Enhancement for RAW.

You know the differences between RAW and JPEG?

Delete Autoexec.bin and ML directory. Copy extracted nightly build contents (Aug. 2014) to card and retry.

I'm not sure, but maybe I found a workaround:
Turn on movie mode in 1080p25, make sure to have audio recording enabled (manual mode). Focus on today's date in calendar, activate recording and repeat month's name at least 2 times. Avoid clipping! Replay on computer.

I'm pretty sure that - with time - you will get the message.

hi, I seem to have a problem with the latest nightly build (29.03)

You may change cam's date to 02.04.2015 (DD.MM.YYYY)

Format card using a card reader. Format card in cam again. Copy extracted nightly contents to card. Run firmware update.
#6498
Don't install ML then.

Remove card, remove battery, remove lens. Insert battery. Startup. Results?

Format card using a card reader. Insert into cam. Startup. Results?

Don't forget to remove battery after testing.
