i have read the changelog and there i can find some merged mlv notes.
when i download the nightly and copy that onto the card i can not find it.?
do i have to download an additional module for mlv usage?

i don´t know if that shot would be better with older versions.
perhaps it is too much difference between the brightness and the darker areas in that special shot.?

here is a Dual Iso Shot where i shot a face of a person and a bright sky. when i use the latest cr2hdr 1.5 app for mac the dngs look strange.. (especially the hair of the guy - like there is less resolution)

here are the first 11 dngs of one scene which remain unchanged when using exiftool..? the complete shot has 222 dngs..   the dngs have that greenish look and also stay unchanged..

is there another mac tool or command availalbe to correct that shot.?
i have tried to use the terminal.
but i can only get image files unchanged.

Can anyone test mlv format with 48fps?

On a 5d mk3 i have problems with raw and highest resolution. The writing speed is much lower than in 24fps mode. So it is not possible to record more than 500frames.

they are in the same folder now.
on the second shooting day i had the same problem.. the first 2 shots are corrupted and the image is greenish.
interesting is that the preview is normal.

today we started to shoot our short movie and i had some slowmotion raw shots, there was no error while shooting but when i got home, i had this broken first frame in one shot, when i load that into resolve 10like i have a corrupted greenish sequence
is it possible to repair that shot?

How do you accomplish slowmotion with 48fps?
Do you interpret that material as 24fps material? Or do you slow it down different?

thx for your posting alex. i also cant see any difference on the iso shots 1600 3200 6400 from your link.  everything makes sense but i have to get used to it.. when you prefere 100/800 for a night scene with some highlight areas it means that you make no ettr without dual iso first, and then apply the second (lower iso) to get rid of the noise.. right?

and btw.. wouldn´t it be great to implement a "lock the 180degree shutter rule" for the raw video as an option for ettr, so that it only adapts the right iso for the scene. ?
when shooting video i always want my shutter to stay at e.g. 1/48 for 24fps..

i have read somewhere that 1. we should ettr the scene and then 2. apply the second iso for raising the shadows..
so this could also be 800/1600.

am i right?

hello,

with a canon autofocus lens the halfshutter zoom from liveview tweaks is not working (only works with manual focus lenses.)
as it is possible to disable halfshutter focus with costumcontrol in the canon menu, would it be possible to enable the halfshutter zoom when the focus is assigned to another button..
in my setup halfshutter would be free cause i zoom with the af on button on the 5dmk3..

another interesting idea would be a button learn option.. like midi equipment and software synths for example.
so i chose a function (zoom for example) and assign it to the desired button.
