I've Just had a quick play with crop video mode.

very nice indeed, I have a single hot pixel whenever using it though, is this a known issue? its certainly a tiny problem.

Anyway I've knocked up a quick video, can the more knowledgeable among us tell me if my theory/numbers are correct or if I'm talking nonsense  :) apologies for the poor quality and subject matter, it was getting dark at home but I still really wanted to test it.

thanks

I can't find this....  ???

1. Put the card in the camera and do a low lever format
2. Copy the latest ML build in the card, also dont forget to copy the 650D-safe-dumper.fir
3. After you copied those files run the eoscard.exe and select a) eos_develop b) boodisk and save. Also refresh just to make sure both are chosen.

After that you should be fine.

I did but again doesn't work  ???

I have a second card and there I had pass the program ...
I did format the card and I had to transfer data!
Well since bought a new means of transfers tried to transfer the program again on the card!
Well after I've done hard format I tried to boot the card with the EOScard.exe but keep getting message that the path can not be found  :o
Unfortunately doesn't work and the camera whenever I put this card!
The card works fine and I can see on the computer and can pass files, but can't pass the ml or to have it as second card...

The ML developers are world champions to scare users "Don't click me!", I like it ;D
Had we ever easter eggs in ML?

Want to see who will press it !!!  ;D

Possible bug: I have the nifty50 f1.8 lens and with ML I cant set Aperture lower then 2.0

I have the same issue, if we put f1.8 from canon menu then works...

Again: Help us to help you, please.

Okay, other way round: Set AF on lens to MF, choose M, 1/60 s, aperture 8, ISO 400, single shot mode.
Now go to the intervalometer menu, choose
Take a picture every 3 sec
Start after 3 sec
Stop after 3 shots

Now just press the shutter button down half and Bob is your uncle. Please report results.

Ciao, Walter

I had "open" the FPS override and when i put the intervalometer the camera stop working...

This was the problem...

I use the latest from here https://www.dropbox.com/sh/hxsv61cq992egmy/BtTgp4q6i0

I set the time and frames and then the camera doesn't work....

Hello!
I'm pretty new to this, I got my 650D in front of me, but I can't find any download for ML on the site, where is it, or is there one?

2nd Question, if a installation fails, is there anything you can to to fix the camera?

1. Make sure that the firmware is fixed for a booting from SD card. If not, follow this instruction:
   - Download this boot fix: http://nanomad.magiclantern.fm/650D/magiclantern-v2.3.NEXT.2013Feb02.650D.BOOTFIX.zip
   - Extract this to your SD card
   - Put the SD card in your camera and do a firmware update
   your camera firmware is fixed :)

2. Make sure that the bootflags is setted on your SD card. If not, follow this instruction:
   http://wiki.magiclantern.fm/install#installing_magic_lantern_on_other_cards

3. Download the new zip file and extract it to your SD card.
   Note, the name of the zip file contained a creating date in european format.
   ML_N_11.05.zip
   ML = Magic Lantern
   N = nightly
   11.05 = 11 May

4. Test this build diligently and report the bugs ;)

Hey guys,
to be always up to date, use the "Daily compiled builds from the last ML source" or take a look to my signature. The compilation occurs automatically on my server, then tested on my camera and published.
I will try my best to upload every day. And please don't forget guys, always to report the bugs ;)

Which of all these files we put and how ?

Thanks  ;D
