Just update to the recent Nightly-Build and this gag is gone.
#2
can someone please compile a new build for 1.2.3 with logging disabled :)

Edit: or is it possible to use the newest mlv-rec.mo out of the 1.1.3 nightly, which does not have the logging enabled with the latest 1.2.3 nightly?
#3
How much work must be done to compile a new build for the 5D3 1.2.3 ?

There are currently three Kombuterbay 64GB cards available: 1000x, 1050x, 1066x. Which one should i get based on your experience?

General Help Q&A / Re: use canon info?
July 01, 2014, 10:59:52 PM
The camera in the video runs on a ML-version dated with 22. Dec 2011. ML version 2.3, the version you use, was released mid 2012, so its another version. Unfortunately i don´t know how to archiv the settings you want since there was a lot of refactoring specially in the nightly-builds.

Nanomad, one of the developers, is preparing the port. See more infos here:
http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=6862.msg111985;topicseen#msg111985
But there is no date, when it will be available. It´s done when it´s done ;)

Card Spanning means that the files are written to the CF AND SD card to archive higher speeds. When you convert the mlv-files you need the files from the SD card, too.

Found in the official Adobe Blog:
http://blogs.adobe.com/premierepro/2014/04/thenextpremiereproccrelease.html

QuotePremiere Pro's rich support for workflows in 5K and beyond is further enhanced, with new native support for CanonRAW and Sony SStP media. Enhanced CinemaDNG support (including Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera, Convergent Design Odyssey7Q, and CinemaDNG source settings), and a powerful new workflow for the ARRI AMIRA camera, where appropriate LUTs are applied on ingest at the master clip level are also available. Editors working with RED media will benefit greatly from the ability to debayer on a supported GPU, providing amazing playback performance up to full-resolution real-time playback on a workstation-class system.

Let´s see ;)

Thanks for your fast feedback and the fix :) When i cancel the scan it saves the wrong value, so your fix is the cleaner and better solution. I will test it, when its merged.

I tested DotTune on my Mark III 1.2.3 (Bleeding Edge Build 17. March 2014) and used the mode "linear -20...+20". It additionaly performed the -40...+40 and -100...+100 tests. Is this a supposed behavior or did i make something wrong? Can anyone please look into it. I can give you more information and settings if you need it.

QuotePlanetMitch over at Planet5D speculates about the possibility of adding Dual Pixel Technology to the EOS 5D Mark III. With Canon adding it to the Cinema EOS line, can we expect the same thing for the EOS lineup as well?

Mitch asked Canon, and received the types of answers you'd expect.

This would certainly change the game for the EOS 5D Mark III and adding features to an existing Canon DSLR.

Says PlanetMitch
"Tho of course, we don't know if it is going to be added to the Canon EOS 5D Mark III or even the Canon EOS C300 and who knows how long Canon has been putting Dual Pixel capable sensors out... but we do now know that they shipped cameras with capable sensors before they had the firmware necessary to make it all work."

What parameters do you recommend of ETTR and Post deflicker for sunsets and sunrises?
http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=5705.0
I would set the Intervalometer at "slowest shutter Speed" from ETTR + at least 8 secounds. I tried it with 5 secounds like recommended in the tutorial but that caused a lock up from my camera, so please be aware of that you need a bigger time between shots.

I can't find bulb ramping on the Shoot, or any other, menu.
Directions?
Is this part of 1.0.4 for the 650D?
For timelapse use ETTR + PostDeflicker --> http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=5705.0
Did it on the 650D a few days ago and it worked very well.

ok, ich übersetz es für dich, weil die meisten Entwickler Englisch sprechen.

Translation:
I have a 60D and my videos are only 17 seconds long. What settings I have to change to get the whole 30 min recording time back?
2. Question: Is there a way to view / change the settings at a computer (config-file?).

solltest besser auf Englisch schreiben  ;)

The problem is the small picture-buffer. I can only take 3 raw+L shots in a row with my 650d
A fast card can´t compensate that .

Reread the bold part  :)

ohh ok :D
Will this work on the 650D, too? Or is the firmware too different?

- I've expected a lot fewer 5D3 users, compared to 5D2. That means, Canon did things right with 5D3 and this camera is going to stick around for a while.

Maybe a few people like me voted for the 5D3 because they plan to buy one. So the totally amount of 5D3 ML users could be lower.
