can you share your post workflow? how do you stabilize the frames?

its a single 10.2 gb file, i shot it with my card formatted to exfat in my mark iii, actually i shot a bunch of .raw file before and after this file and all of them except this one work.

i have the .RAW file that came straight from camera in my computer, i need to convert it to dng's so i can import it to resolve or adobe acr, the problem is that i cannot convert it, every time i try to open it with raw2dng.exe the program crashes (or maybe just closes) and nothing happens. I know the .RAW file has information, cause its a 10.2 gb.  and cause i remember i recorded.

i could upload the file to dropbox if someone is willing to help me.

lo malo es que tuviste varios skipped frames, me desconectan un poco de la historia.

most of the interior shots suck, exterior shots are nice, specially the color correction, but the license plate detail its kind of the worst solution i've ever seen. The black n white effects are way to kitch for me haha.

But if the new firmware reads the whole 256 gb, then maybe when ML updates to this firmware we could have longer raw record times and way faster cards.

shadows look kind of purple instead of blue. 

Here's the best I can get with video.  Mind you ,I'm on a mac, and not smart enough to run the command line stuff, so I converted this with son of batch app for osx.  I toyed with the exposure a bit, the first one has no clipped highlights in the live view preview, the second one has some in the clouds.  I boosted both the shadows to 100 and held the highlights to -100 just to see how far I can push it.  Now if someone can help make the upgrades that a1ex made to the cr2hdr to the video end, we would have something amazing!!!

i did about 140 gb of dual iso video material, i haven't processed it yet because of the outdated raw2dng. waiting for the upodate too.

Hey Alex, when is the new raw2dng with new algorithm for dual isos coming? just shot around 140 gb pure dual iso raw video crazy stuff, haha.

is this a problem in resolve and not in acr because of the debayering method? or why dois this happens just in resolve?

fatpig, what do you think of implementing the feature of making prores 444 or prores 422 files through ffmpeg? i think for some projects this would be ideal, since you could start editing straight from this prores files and hace the capacity to go through a nice colour correction.

I need some help plz.

I shot RAW, I made my proxies in RAWanizer, i made the dngs in BATCHelor, i made my cut with the proxies (and some gopro footage) in premiere pro cs6, so my next step was exporting xml from premiere, then import it in resolve in the conform page (i already had all my files in the media pool) the problem was that all my clips were wrong, they were showing other clips, i moved some settings in the project setting conform section and it didn't even import most of the clips, so i tried to manually conform each individual clip, wich i was succesfull but the timecode was messed up, all the clips started right from frame 1. I dunno what to do, i really want to color grade in resolove my dngs! maybe its a premiere problem when i export the xml or maybe its something wrong im doing in resolve.

BTW most of my raw footage was shot at 48 fps and had a 50% speed change in premiere; my project in premiere is in 2fps.

Any help would be much apreciated. Thx.

biggest downside of shooting a fiction in raw is the recording information display in camera or monitor, a lot of times it gets in the way of actors faces or maybe you cant see the boom is in the shot.

i think its stable enough if you have what it needs (fast CF cards, a usb 3.0 laptop and lots of hdd to save all the data) i've been trying to shoot all my work in raw now and it has never failed, i even shot a short film in raw.

First of all 10000 iso is not a good iso to use in raw, you should use 6400 or 12000, and always expose ettr, in resolve or acr lifting up any exposure (low, mids, highs or exp en general) will produce noise.
I dont think iso 6400 is usable in h264, 6400 en raw is ok, but i wouldn't go all the way up to 12000. (5d mark III)

Hi, anyone has some advice for the best way of formatting CF cards in windows so i can take full advantage of write speed for raw rec?

thats right, they are kind of disturbing, but at least you a 100% sure you are recording in raw.

same problem as last post, i thought it would make a single cdng file but made a lot of dngs that i cannot open in resolve
