Check the magenta/green balance. Normal auto WB shouldn't have that effect.

Not related to this Magic Lantern in any way  :)

Who said there isn't any difference between the skin tones of the face and the rest of the skin? I would say it's too darn next to impossible to get these two different parts to match up under natural lighting..

Strange. I only got the 422 files in my card and a file called TEST.BMP (cannot be opened though). The creation date & time match those of the last 422 file.

General Help Q&A / Screenshots with ML overlay
February 06, 2013, 04:38:07 PM
I am trying to take a couple of screenshots showing ML menus or ML overlays in live view, however so far all my screenshots do not show these GUI elements and only show the picture when converted from 422 to jpeg. Am I doing something wrong and/or is there any way to take screenshots of these?

L + R?

Use a stereo 3.5mm splitter connected to the camera's mic in, and then connect your reference music and your mic to the other 2 ends of the splitter. Set your camera to record external stereo.

Otherwise, you can change the input to record internal audio coming from the camera's mic on one channel and external input on the other channel (i.e. record reference music through camera's built-in mic and record the external mic connected to the camera's mic in port).

Are you in the ML menu, the one you open with the erase button?

If so, try pressing the Menu button while the ML menu is open and see if the item shows up (this should show all hidden menu items, in case it was hidden by mistake).

Go to the Shoot menu and turn on HDR Bracketing (first menu item). Press Q while HDR Bracketing is highlighted to set options such as number of bracketed shots.

Yes, they should be visible on the top of the live view display. If they aren't there, make sure that Audio Meter is turned on from the Audio menu.

Strange.. don't know of any settings that may leave this effect. Are you using any filters in front of your lens by any chance?

What's your setup like? (as in, which mic are you trying to connect and what cables are you using)

Shot some videos yesterday at this beautiful beach called Ghajn Tuffieha in Malta. Very popular location with tourists in summer, however at this time of the year it's really peaceful. Approximately half of the shots in the video were shot in HDR and processed through Enfuse.

Camera: 60D
Lenses: Canon 10-22, 24-105L, 70-200L, Walimex 35mm T/1.5 cine

Is Global Overlay set to All modes?
#119
Just wanted to post a quick update:
Below is a quick test (handheld shot) with the 35mm cine lens on a 5D2 - t/1.5 (wide open), 1/30 and ISO 3200 (no post and shot in neutral flat). I'm simply amazed that you can shoot with these lenses when there barely is any light at all!

I don't think you can (at least it's not listed in any of the menus). Try changing the screen layout as Alex suggested and see if any of the layouts remove it.

This tutorial should have some info on fixing moire (and some other problems) in Premiere:

To my knowledge, when changing those settings, audio should be disabled by default. Verify that it's disabled from the Canon menu just in case.

I think you're referring to the bitrate graph.

What mode are you in?

You need to half press the shutter button for metering to start working. Try it out and see if it appears.
