Exactly!

It's weird, when I use the new hdmi mirroring feature, there's no way to show ML overlays in the camera LCD. Pressing INFO button, just shuffles the normal Canon overlays..  :-\

Do the installation instructions above apply if we are running nightly builds on 1.1.3 and already have the boot flag flipped on? I think Im on a March nightly build on 5d3. With that being said if we uninstall from from the 1.2.3 does that completely remove the boot flag? Sorry if this is a irritating question. I haven't read up on 1.2.3 yet

If you have the bootflag already enabled, just upgrade to 1.2.3 Canon firmware, power off the camera, put ML (1.2.3 build) on card, et voilĂ .

It works fairly well.

What I noticed so far:

+) when HDMI+LCD mirroring is active, ML acts like it does when Canon displays are ON (so no overlays, neither in camera lcd or in external monitor). Infact, inside ML menu, info bar at the bottom keep saying "Press INFO (outside ML menu) to turn Canon displays off.".

to make the images not only non-readable, but also deniable as it would be the best in scenario 2, it should
open some template file (e.g. a flower) instead whenever an encrypted image is tried to be displayed.

So-called steganography (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steganography), I remember software like "camouflage" ten years ago..

Maybe some opensource solution could be of any help? That's Java: http://sourceforge.net/projects/openstego/

maintained the 240 dpi for the image (most important part)!
& i far as i know Photoshop is the only one that can do this without loosing pixel density.

DPIs do not act before printing an image on paper sheets, that data is embedded in digital files just for convenience. http://www.rideau-info.com/photos/mythdpi.html

If you feel the upscaling better, probably it depends on better Photoshop upscaling algorythms.

What if the trashcan button only exits the current menu to the level above and from the top level it exits?

I second that, I've had exactly the same tought.

About the overlay icon, just my two cents:

I think zebras identifies very well the idea of overlay options, so why not a diagonal pattern like this?

I have the Rode NTG-2. To get proper level from that mic, you need a (good) pre-amp. This is the purpose of JuicedLink.

Simply, the on-camera preamp is not powerful enough to bring up decent levels from NTG-2.

BTW, of you mind about external recorder, lot of people report low audio levels with combo NTG2 - ZOOM H4N (i.e. http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?223640-H4n-NTG2-Dissappointment-So-Far), probably due the not-so-strong pre-amps of the ZOOM. I planned to skip the H4N and buy a Tascam DR-100mkII instead..
Right now I'm using a mixer, but isn't a comfortable solution..

Cheers

@Francis
Actually, some scenes were filmed with a 5DmkII, like the first b/w sequence  ;)

@dhilung
Thanks!
Lenses used: Canon 50mm f1.8, Nikon Nikkor 50mm f1.8D, Canon EF-S 10-22, Canon EF-S 18-55, Canon 75-300 III

Thanks, Francis.

There's not a real "story". Since this is an embed player, I report what is written on YouTube, hope to make the video more clear:

"A woman is living her daily routine at home.
A woman is travelling through her dreams.
They meet each other in a reflection.
They discover to be the same person."

I've used Zebras, Focus Peaking, Intermediate ISO's (550D only) mostly, and sometimes liveview desaturation for b/w preview.
