General Development / Re: Bars facelift

Thanks a1ex, I really like that approach. I have e.g. a lens that needs Mangenta 8, and that wouldn't look good on many other lenses, if I should forget to change.

Nice and clean, but I would still want to quickly be able to see if there's any WBShift applied, since I've got lenses that need all sorts of correction. So let's not make the bars too clean.. ;)

General Help Q&A / Re: Video Editing software

Some users are running it successfully on Windows 8 (Win 7 compatibility mode), but support for Win 8 is, I believe, on the way.

No, nothing on this level. Windows Movie Maker?

...how are others managing exposure changes during recording?
By using a manual lens, with a de-clicked aperture ring, is a great help. You can also use one of these variable ND filers.

Feature Requests / LV grayscale override
July 27, 2012, 01:55:18 PM
I like to use grayscale on the viewer while shooting a movie, to not get distracted by colours, but setting the White Balance while in grayscale mode isn't always to ones advantage ;)
Would it be possible to temporary disable grayscale while adjusting WB, e.g. as long as the WB shortcut menu is open, and then return to grayscale again?
