Now it works fine. Both at my home and on ML server :)

I'm using the codesourcery toolchain for my 1100D work. It's pre-built and works fine.

I don't have an iPad, can you post a screenshot or a photo of what's showing up instead?

Wierd, I'd have a look at the focusing routine as Half shutter is used for that. That is, if you know where to look in the firmware  :-\

If you had to use -mlong-calls chances are you're using a 64bit compiler.
In order to test and develop Magic Lanter properly, I suggest you use a 32bit arm compiler. If you're on linux there's no need to use a 32 bit distrubtion, you just need to install libc6-i386

@ nanomad nice pice of Canon History you have ( EOS650 without D)

It's a great piece of hardware. 24 years old and it still works like it was its first day. The same goes for the lenses (altough I had to clean the tele since it had dust in it)

I would wish that the ML community would support alex with one piece of every canon model - this would make things easier for him and help the whole canon filmer/user community.
Let´s see it this way - for example with a 600d:
If every 600d user who uses ML gives him 10 $ or € it needs only around 70 people to solve this problem. This could work for every model.
I would go with it immediately ...
So, is there anybody around who´s interested?

The donation feature is in the works, don't worry  8)

Hi,
I'm glad you want to help. I suggest you start by setting up the toolchain to compile Magic Lantern and compile the latest release for the 1100D.
#2336
I'll leave that to A1ex, bit as far as I know that's not possible since you are limited either by the burst rate of your camera or the FPS/resolution of the buffer used in silent pic mode.
#2337
Well, you'll miss the on-board audio or external audio (where available). Not a big loss, but then syncing becomes a PITA (i.e. you can't use plugins like PluralEyes) unless you use a clapper.

Yes, sorry, exp override. So we do have manual video controls as long as we activate it. Which is nice  8)

This post contains current issues with ML

- [WONTFIX] Shutter and aperture working only in Exp Comp mode (applies to LV too)
- [L] Going from Exp Comp ON to OFF doesn't re-disable Shutter and Aperture
- [M] Focus peaking: peaks are off
- [M] Focus peaking - grayscale preview: Image is magenta
- [H] Magic Zoom: image is zoomed but it's being displayed wrong (weird aspect ratio, flickering)

Movie mode
- [H] ISO Stuff is not working

P Mode
- [L] Can't disable ExpSim
- [M] GlobalDraw - interaction with Canon graphics not working

I didn't finish testing as I have to go :P

I'll increase it to 20 by default as 5 is really low

No can do, without editing the source files. I'll leave to 5 for now

I've done that as soon as I switched to a 32bit compiler. Maybe it's the codesurcery compiler, dunno :o

Here's the patch I've created to make 1100D compile again

Uhm, dunno if I'm doing something wrong, but the memory usage stays the same (26K + 865K)

This time I've used codesurcery 32bit arm gcc (4.6.3)

Oh, and the overlay isn't showing up in the idle screen (the one that says P, ISO AUTO, AWB, MF, ...)

I'll have a look into fonts after making the ML menu button work reliably (shouldn't take too long).

Thanks for all the help!

Hi all!
Since we are lacking a proper mobile "theme" and since I happen to be a great fan of tapatalk, I've enabled it on our forum. Let me know if you stumble across any issues while using it.
