I realy want to use this feature in my vacations for some timelapses! So i dont have to hurt my new 6D with thousands of shutter actions...

In the end of July i tested the new FRSP modul with my old 600D and i was very happy with it. I took various photos with it and i produced even a little promo vid for this modul.

I tryed to find the borders of this modul and reported every bug i found. There were real not much ! ( )
Now, 5 months later, i sold my 600D and bought a 6D. Not hard to imagine that i want to try this new modul on the 6D too and help u guys with further developing. But.

I searchd now nearly 2 hours in the forum to find current silent.mo builds for the 6D but i found nothing useful. Now i read that people just asked for builds and didnt reported bugs :/ to sad.
So, the result from Audionut is totaly understandeble.

Now my question.
Is there any chance that a user, how is willing to "test" the FRSP modul, getting a working build for the 6D?

It would be realy awesome! This new feature would help me so much by taking timelapse's!

Like i wrote. I tested it on my old 600D, which i sold few weeks ago, and i was totaly happy with it and it had realy just a few minor bugs. I took like 10k images without any dropped frames.

Ahh, ok now i got the point.

Export settings were 1080p | 25fps | h.264 | High Profil | Level 5.0 | VBR1 | 15mbit/s avg. 35mbit/s max.
I uploaded the clip at 1080p because my Inetconnection is very bad, 2mbit - 45kb/s upload...
And yea, the Youtube compression sucks... dunno what to do, to let the video look more crisp and clean. Any tips or hints?
Im going to upload the clip to vimeo very soon. Lets see what they do with the file.

@Levas: Why would u average, lets say, 400 frames or even 90? If u want to extract single dng's u have to comand "--dng" but i guess u know that. If its only for experimental purpose, extract the dng's, develop them with, lets say, LR and average them with Photoshop. Maybe u could upload the 90 Frame .mlv so others can try to average the file`?

Yeha. I have the same problem... Would be nice if it jumps back to LV earlyer to study the histogram. Now i have only 1/2 of a sec for this.

Just some short Info. 600D 19July Nightly + silent.mo from dmiligan ist still working great for me. Taking 500 pictures without any dropframes and saves same into seperat .mlv/.m00 files. Extracting with mlv_dump.exe and works perfectly. Dont wanne miss or lose this in my Canon!

Just some Ideas. It would be great to see the (RAW?) Histogram during saving or when the pic is saved. For Day to Night(or Night to Day) TimeLapse this is very important.

I guess thats gonna save a lot battery life when you shooting Timelapse.

Yea, i fully agree with marekk. To turn off the Display would be great trough timelapse! Or at least to auto decrees the brightniss of the Display.

Hey Guys. I have a little Problem over here with Dual Iso. At first, u realy did a great job with this Modul, Big Thanks for that!

But now the Problem. I tryed the Dual Iso with the newest Version of Full Res Silent Pic (Imagine silent pics + 14ev dr...  realy awesome).

So i took a dual Iso image on the normal way. I got a simple .cr2 file as always. (left side)
After that i took a Full Res Silent Pic as a 14Bit .DNG with the new Modul (right side)



Both Images look OK for Dual Iso processing, or?(Yeha, the right pic is a little bit to bright, what ever ) So i processed them both on the same way with cr2hdr.exe
But now look what i got after the process



The .cr2 image(still left side) looks fine but the Full Res Silent Pic .DNG(right side) looks very annoying.

Did i something wrong? Does some1 know's what happend here? Help pls!

Ok. I took 150 Images á 31,5MB what schould be 4,725GB. I got 2 Files

File 1 --> 00000000.MLV (4.145MB)
File 2 --> 00000000.M00 (601MB)

What does this mean? Can i rename the File 2 to 00000001.MLV and everything is fine?

Agreed. Gonna test the 4GB limit right now.
Camera is shooing in this moment.
btw. i notice a bug. After i took an Image i wasnt able to take a picture on the normal way. Then i turned the camera off and on again. Still bugged... But now i wasnt able to turn the camera off. I had to take out the battery. Then the camera startet "normaly" again. "no clean shutdown - no moduls loading" etc.

Any Ideas?

I was not familiar with the cmd. I simply dropped the .mlv on the mlv_dump.exe

a simple Interface would be awesome! But what ever gonna happen. This is so teriffic a this point. Taking TimeLapse without killing the shutter, so nice!

Ok, thats very interesting. So the Problem is not inside the Camera. Its the Converter, thats good.
And now. I used mlv_dump.exe, he sad "Processed 3 video frames" but he did not created any files. What am i doing wrong?

Windows 7 64bit, Camera like i wrote in the last Post.

This .MLV contains just 1 image. I have a very slow internet conection so the less MB the faster it goes

HHmm... i tryed to use mlv_dump to extract my own .mlv . It worked, he sad "Processed 3 video frames" but he did not created anything. What did i wrong?
If i extract my .mlv with mlv2dng i got the black borders...

When i change the format inside the Camera to .DNG i got nice Images without black bars.
Using the 600D with the Nightlybuild from 19July together with the silent.mo from dmilligan.

I dont know exactly what i have to do to set the center right to avoid black borders on the 600D when im using the newest silent.mo with Timelapse -> .mlv container. But im still very happy how it works without it. Im sure u will delet this minor bugs

If there is anything i can do to help with my 600D let me know.

Intervalomat + Silent Pics works great, puts the Frames inside a .mlv Container. But im gettin the same Error's inside mlv2dng.exe like barepixels. And like the image from him show's, there are some Blackborders in the Top and left of the Image after converting from mlv 2 dng.
