Yes.
No log conversion.

I use the Cinelog DCP conversion LUTs (Resolve 12) + custom color work.
The Director ask for aditionnal (artificial) flare.

#59
I agree !

But it was ask by the Agency and the Director...
I was only DOP....then i had to respons to this task.

On the firsts tests, the director found all my images too "contrasty", he was always asking for less contrast, less saturation.

But the RAW images are not "LOG", there is lot of contrast in the RAW image (if there is much light in the frame).

I proposed the DSO lenses to the Director because they have a low level of contrast, and a high level of flare.
#60
Yes, here is one of them :

At 0:53' of the Making Off you can see my assistant, pointing a projector (with a snoot cap on it) on the lens = to create flare, cause the DSO lenses produce beautiful flare, and the director wanted flare on every sequences !

Raw Video / Re: Conversion file empty with MLV Mystic
September 07, 2016, 08:30:58 AM

No It's not that...
So I mount a specific SSD disk drive that I use only for DNG extraction, then I copy the DNG sequences from this SSD to my project directory ...

If somebody has a solution...(I already tried to re-install Mystic but it doesnt change anything).

Raw Video / Conversion file empty with MLV Mystic
September 04, 2016, 09:02:24 PM
Something new and strange append wtih MLVMystic 0.5....

When I convert MLV file in DNG on one of my internal disk drive (SSD), it create empty file.

I noticed that if I set the destination  in a sub directory, It does not work. It create  all the files with source name of orginal MLV file... but totaly empty !

But if i set the destination directly on the disk (without sub directory = it works !!

Why ?
How could i correct that bug ?

It was working properly before, and nothing has change on my computer...

#64
Love it !
#65
That's true !
Thank you axelcine !

Hope my translation's good...

Just take really care if you plug your Canon on a more than 12V, it destroy your mother board.

It append to me, with my Canon 5D mark3 when I made a mistake and plug it on a Lamparte V-Lock Battery ont he 15V output instead of 8V.
Camera dead.

500€ to change the mother board.

Thanks !

But I do more work on lighting on set, because grading is only for finishing.
=> I try to make 90% of color and light on set.

=> only 5% for color work in post, 5% for exposition and work on specific part of the image...
