After three days of trial and error and swimming through this forum searching for an answer to this question I finally figured out how to disable PowerSave on the Canon 5D Mark two with magic lantern.
1. Go to magic lantern settings >> prefs >> Power save in live view >> enable power saving on STBY + REC And everything else to off
2. Go to Prefs >> Misc key settings >> sticky half shutter to on >> hold down the shutter button half way so that the blue light on the Shutter button is on
3. Go to main canon menu settings and set Powerade to. Or to 30 min, not sure if this even matters
This kept my LCD on permanently and it never went to sleep
Great for using the the camera as a web cam.
