I don't know if this is right forum, but I just came across an error. Running  ver. 1729277 (May31) on 5DM3. CF card SanDisk 32 Extreme Pro (90MB/sec). While running random tests, with LV in M Movie Mode got err70 twice, after about 4-5 min of running the test. After removing battery all was OK. Don't know if this interests anybody, just want to help somehow to make it better.

I got all RAW video working out fine, thank to A1ex. Is all good, just one question: is there some way to see the movie RAW file while connecting camera to PC, so far, the only way I could see and transfer it, is by putting CF card in reader and then file is visible. Also in Windows Explorer file M000000.RAW shows as Leica Raw Image.  As I heard some horror stories of bend pins in CF card slot on 5DM3, I like to avoid taking out the CF card at all. I am using windows 8. Thank you for any advice

General Help Q&A / 5D3 RAW video - SanDisk Extreme Pro - no go
« on: May 15, 2013, 03:17:25 AM »
Hi. on 5D3 loaded ML. Enabled RAW video module, but in video settings, it tells me I can't do any size, even 640x320. ML is on SD card, but video recording on CFSandisk Extreme Pro (90mb/s). Am I missing something here (like much, much faster CF card?). Thanks for any advice.

Same here, done upgrade/downgrade 3 times, no problem. Only problem is, now ML doesn't work. Hope new Alpha for 1.2.1 will come soon...

General Help Q&A / Shutter actuation on 5D MKIII?
« on: March 30, 2013, 12:12:49 PM »
Hi. Used ML on MKII and very happy with it. I am awaiting 5D MKIII and was wondering if the 3 Alpha shows number of actuation taken. If it does, I will go ahead and install it, if not, I wait for final release. Thank you for help.

5 DMKII. Great job guys, my only wish is to have proper Auto ISO in M mode. Happy camper nevertheless

one more try: NONE of my ISO shows in green color, from ISO 100 to ISO 12800 are all orange, I though some of them 160, 320 should be shown in green as they have negative gain

General Help Q&A / Re: no green ISO

I am not talking about clipping channels, is only color of ISO settings displayed on LCD. While in zero gain, ISO display in orange, while negative in green, while too high in red. My ISO display shows only orange, and red at ISO 25000. I am wondering if this is normal behavior or am I missing some settings.

I am not complaining that ISO 25000 doesn't show as green, but that NONE of the ISO setting does, which should according to manual. As for Auto ISO in M mode, I found it very well implemented in Nikon, as well as in the new 5DMKIII.

General Help Q&A / no green ISO
« on: August 20, 2012, 06:25:48 AM »
Hi. Installed the ML and love it so far. I understand that setting ISO with negative exposure gain, would make it shows up as green on LCD. Well, mine stays orange/yellow all the time, when move to ISO 25000 color changes to red, but no green at all. Is not a big deal, just wondering if this is normal behavior on 5DMKII with ML 2.3. Other than that is awesome, give me Auto ISO in M mode and I will truly support it.
