Is there any?
I mean.. um-m.. cheap canon ixus 500 HS uses digic 5 processors. Same processor was used in eos M, 650D, 700D etc.

Canon 70D has a seriios problem with proper cooling CPU. That black "carbon" stickers on CPU does not help much to cool down CPU during high load (video recording and even being in ML LV mode with couple realtime drawings enabled). It`s canon engineers fault.
Reballing chip doesn`t help.
So be warned - using LV mode shortens life of your cameras. Are you still thinking that underclocking is useless ?

Umm.. there is some non-standard feature wants - UNDERCLOCK main CPU. Is it possible ?

I`ve got 5D Classic with 5Dc-b4 today.
didn't attach importance about it, but... PASM selector works incorrectly. Activates Bulb mode in Av position and M - in others. Changes CF card to the one without ML cure it.
Pass it for beta-5, may be.

Is there any way (script/addon/etc) to automate AEL/FE lock with half pressed shutter button every single shot?
99.99% of the time I use central focusing point and this feature can be very helpful to eliminate pressing [∗] every shot.

Is it ok to use this installation method :  https://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/3628812?page=3       ?
I had the same problem. It took me a while to figure out that there are two ways to install dual iso. The second option is downloading another software called Eoscard. It makes any SD or CF card bootable. I took the second option. The steps are as follows:
1. Download Eoscard from here.
2. Unzip it.
3. Download the nightly build (ML and autoexe.bin files) and unzip it. Transfer both files (ML and autoexe.bin) to the root of the memory card (already formatted in camera).
4. Click on Eoscard (memory card still connected to computer). Its interface will open and it will immediately recognize the memory card. Screenshot of the interface is here.
http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/EOScard
Make sure that only Bootdisk is checked as in the screenshot. Click Refresh. That's it, your memory card is now bootable. You won't have to go through firmware update process. Take the card out of your computer and put it in the camera. You are good to go.

And what should I use - last nightly build or archive from the start msg of this topic? I mean:
nikfreak-magic-lantern-0e6493e8ac5e.zip
or
magiclantern-Nightly.2018Dec24.70D112.zip
It seems that the second one is newer (2018-04-30 vs 2018-12-24)

tnx ahead

PS hmm.. may be from here? But which archive should I use?

Looks like @ArcziPL has a test build on his downloads page

tnx, very useful page.
Focus trap doesn`t supported on 650D ?!

The main goals:
1. Dual ISO photo
2. Automate focus stacking for macro
3. Cheap, second hand body
That`s it. No video shooting. No minimal high ISO noise (hmm...). No weather proof.
CF card, swivel screen, enormous megapixels, huge battery, hybrid focus - are not necessary. Bright pentaprism is greatly appreciated but.. anyway..
For now I have 1000D/tamron 17-50, but canon isn`t my main shooting system. Just want to try/play with dual ISO shooting and may be slightly =) migrate to canon.

tnx ahead

PS is it good idea to choose from DIGIC5 family? will 100D give me all of the above?
