2020 0814 Perseid Meteor Shower
I made 36 wishes.
Please brighten up the screen to get more stars.
The first half footage is shot by Canon 5D3+Sigma 85mm f1.4 art+Magic Lantern
1080p 14bit raw video.(F1.4 3.2" ISO800 @0.3 fps)
The latter half 6K downscale to 1080p 14bit raw video
FPS Override I just can push to 0.308fps in FLV (5760x3840) to get 3.1" shutter speed optimal for Low Light.
Can someone teach me how to get 5" shutter speed  @ 0.2fps please.
Thanks in advance!!

Dear Luther:
Thank you very much for your advice.
The complete footage of the last scene (stars falling down) is shot in canon 85mm F1.2  len.
I use "curve function" to form a S-shape which can make the clip look cleaner.

Best Regard!

Thank you and MagicLantern team.
My workflow is as below:
300% crop (1200mm part)
RAW Video +FPS Override @24fps optimized for "Actual FPS" (IF Skip this step, video will become choppy, not smooth .I don`t know why,but I found MagicLantern will record raw video @ 29.976fps if I skip this step.)
->24 fps raw video is smooth.
->30 fps raw video is choppy. No matter 1x(No cropped) or 3x cropped video.
I don`t know why?
press "Magnify glass" to X5 ,the screen will become colorless and noisy.
press RECORD BUTTON

Shooting stars part:
https://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=24449.msg220320#msg220320
I set FPS Override to 0.54fps optimized for "LOW LIGHT".
Finetune shutterspeed to 1.8"
F1.2  ISO 800 Shoot RAW Video.

POST Production:
1)I use MLVApp which is the best MLV post production software in my opinion.
a)Push Clarity and Sharpness to the most right.
b)Adjust Dark/Light Strength and Dark/Light range to get most Histogram area.
Be careful overExpo and underExpo.
c)Apply LUTs/Filter you like.I choose "Fuji".
d)export clips to xxx.mp4.

2)Throw these clips(xxx.mp4) to Premiere Pro.
a)Use Lumetri to get best dynamic range
b)Finetune saturation/curve.
c)export to final xxxx.mp4.

That`s it!

Best Regards

I LOVE MAGIC LANTERN.

Thanks to Magic Lantern and Alex.

I shot this footage in Taipei city (on the building roof),not in the mountains.
Canon 5D3 +85mm F1.2 L USM II +Magic Lantern
F1.2  1.8"(359 degree)  ISO800 @ 0.5fps     (under-cranking)
RAW video
I face to North West,so you can see all stars falling down.
Graded in MLV App.

MLV App only process raw footage.
HDR Video is H.264 and MLV App doesn`t support it.

I use HDR-workflow-051 to process HDR Video. And it is more time-consuming.

Please switch to 1080P on Youtube.

Thanks to Magic Lantern and MLV App which are the best weapons to shoot and handle raw videos.
I used to post-processed in raw2cdng / cr2hdr to handle raw/dual iso footages.
It`s a time consuming task until I tried MLV App which is the best software to process raw clips now.
Shot by Canon 5D MARK III + 85mm F1.2L II USM

Hi every expert in ML Forum:
Could you please help me.
I have installed the main build in my 5D3 SD card and want to try 4K raw shooting.
Do I just
1)unzip "magiclantern-crop_rec_4k.2018Mar10.5D3123.zip"   in the computer.
2)copy and paste the unzipped files to the original booted SD card in the computer.(It will replace the files with the same file name)
3) Plug the SD card into 5D3 and rotate to update firmware in 5D3.
4)Turn off and on the camera
Is it correct?
Thanks in advance.
