Hi All,
Just wanted confirmation if headphone monitoring was possible for 600d. The ML site says conflicting info.
on the 'Feature comparison matrix' page - http://builds.magiclantern.fm/features.html
under the Audio section, it lists 'HEADPHONE_MONITORING' and the canon 600d is shown as ticked.
But if I then open the link specific to the HEADPHONE_MONITORING module - http://wiki.magiclantern.fm/userguide#headphone_monitoring
It has a note in the description saying;
This feature is not available on 600D/T3i.
So I am unsure which is correct - can someone please confirm?

Possibly Canon's logic was that to allow file sizes larger than 4GB could limit the ability to transfer them to other storage.

I believe the 4GB limit is a limitation of the exFAT file system, not a problem with the camera or ML.
My manual for my 600d says;
Due to limitations of the file system, movie shooting will stop automatically if the file size of a single movie clip reaches 4GB.
There is no way around that as far as I know.
