Absolutely, I've already sent him the link and suggested he join the forum.

Thanks again!

Format a card in 550D, select Remove ML. Then, from PC, delete all files and folders (including the DCIM directory). Insert the card into 600D, try to start the camera. Results?

If it did not start, look on the card. Did the firmware create the DCIM directory?

Okay, I followed those directions and the camera did not start and did not create a DCIM directory.

Following that attempt, I was able to get my hands on another T3i camera. I installed ML and then moved that SD card to the bricked one, but no luck. Single red light flash when the SD card closed, but no startup. I had a one shot opportunity today to sell the camera to a friend for parts, and the cash was too good to pass up. Thanks for the help in trying to bring it back!

I've got a 600D that had ML installed for a couple thousand exposures. Turn it on yesterday, and for whatever reason nothing happens. Red light blinks once when the SD door is opened or closed, but that's all. I've got some other ML cards for my 550D, so I inserted one just to see if it would give me the "wrong camera" message, and it did. That leads me to believe that something crappy just happened with my SD card and it may be possible to save the camera.

I did get the Magic Lantern Rescue to run, and I'm attaching the screenshot here.

I've also got the Rom dumps, but don't see how I can attach them.

My current problem is that the only version of EOSCard I can find, 1.33, crashes immediately upon opening. It does this on any computer I've tried, in all compatibility modes and run as administrator. The download link to the author's website seems to be broken, so I don't know what else to try. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Austin
