On-topic: there is some development activity for DIGIC 7 (click on the links). Emulation-wise, it's mostly identical to DIGIC 6, just dual-core. None of us has a DIGIC 7 model in their hands, so it's up to the owners of these models to jump in and start contributing.

i have managed to get the .MLV file to work on the MLRawviewer app but im getting lots of multi colours spots on the video. and when i go to the exported files it is just loads of .dngs files and when you open them its two screens together with loads of multi coloured lines like purples and blues yellows and lots of black 

yeah i read that link a1ex sent but i did not come up with a answer to fix it.
I am managing to record 2 seconds until the error but not getting a raw file on my card, the files i getting are M30-2233.MOO then .MO1 then M)2 and so on until M)* and a 2 .MLV files and  a .IDX file

I have tryed the raw.rec MLV to and get same results?

does the raw not work on the 700d?

Hi i am trying to record in raw but keep getting this error - raw_rec_task: NULL PTR error
I have core dumps and lots of crash logs

here is a example of one

Did anyone manage to come up with a solution for this, Im really struggling - trying to get ML installed on my 128gb sdcard but coming up with the same error on macboot - dd: /dev/disk1s1: Permission denied'

Hi, I am new the the forum, well I have been reading it for a while but only just joined now. So hello everyone

I have been using magic lantern on my 700d for a short while now, on the sd card that came with the camera, which is a 8gb sandisk Ultra 40mb, but i have just bought a new bigger card which is a lexar professional 128gb 95mb but i cant get magic lantern to work at all. I have search everywhere but still no luck hence why I'm here.

when i put the sd card in the camera and click format for the ML auto instal to work, it just doesn't run and deletes the ML files off the SD card. I saw online you could use a app on the mac called macboot but after following the youtube video explaining how to do it this way i get the error "Making card bootable failed - retry with debug on for more information"

I hope some brainy bugger out there can help me cos i have been here hours now pulling my hair out.
