Well, isn't it easy to compile some kind of "nightly build" for the 1200D and share that?

I just popped in this forum. I had a Canon Powershot SX10 several years ago and switched some months ago to a 1200D.
I want to change the lenses. As i knew from the SX10 where is a hack for the firmware. With that i was able to save the raw-file of pictures. With the 1200D it is a normal setting. But i also want to have a customized firmware. Here, it would be nice, if i could take video shots in raw. If there are some more possibilities to enhance the quality of pictures it would be nice, too.

Hey there, i just have read, that there might be some hands on a version for the 1200D?
If there is a nightly build i would like to test it. Do i need also the Qemu?
I have a OSX as standard-system. Does that run the tools to build a version, too?
