Is there some way to retain the file NUMBERING across SD card replacements? so that numbering always goes UP for the life of that camera (until a reset is done)..  Right now it seems the file numbering is stored n the SD card... so each swap of SD card gets a different file numbering for the photos..  It would be cool if there was a way to retain true unique numbering, despite swapping of SD card.. this way would avoid duplicate photo names...

Any thoughts?

Not sure why folks spend time insulting one another, instead of just saying:

1) In nightly builds the docs are not included (probably due to size requirements)

2) If you really insist on getting docs, then go for latest stable build, extract the 'docs' directory into the SD card (with the nightly build), then error will go away and you'll get the (older) docs visible :)  docs can be 10MB or so :)

ok, thanks, then I take that it is not possible to do it in-camera (unless the canon firmware already provides it on some models)... Thanks.

Hi there,

I'm totally NEWBIE to ML, managed to super-impose images as overlays in the camera using SET+scroll-dial button, but that does not really produce a new JPEG with the selected images.  Is the only way to truly combine the images is on a PC ? using gimp/photoshop?

Is there a way to produce a single JPEG with multiple exposures? just like it was possible with 35mm FILM?

Thanks.
