Hey yall I have similar issues except I cannot get to the menu screen.  Changed batteries, sd card, and even used different batteries/cards.  Camera got a lil wet, still turns on n off easy n gives me the good ole error 70.  I read the forum but I'll make it simple, I'm not to tech savvy with still cameras.
