Thanks Pablo, I learned after that I couldn't push the 550d footage so far, you know the learning curve; thanks for the feedback man.

I must say when first downloaded MLP and realized there was no .dmg file located in it, I was instantly turned off and terrified; however, @DeafEyeJedi talked me into all the magical wonders this application bring to ML. He stayed up with me last night and walked me through the whole installation process for MLP via text message. @Danne, this man is working overtime to promote your product and get people to use it, I don't know him personally but I really appreciated that. MLP is "GOD DAMN AWESOME" I'm super new to it but I see myself marrying it, trust me, if you are new to this program, it is worth every bit of the installation process, do not be afraid of it, it is magical. I LOVE IT! Thank you very much @Danne and the whole team for giving me this, I have a 550D and now the footage look so much better. THANK YOU. I will be posting to my video soon.

cDNG* (It's my stupidity this time, I cannot blame spell check)..lol

I would always grade my cCNG in lightroom (I have Lr 5.2), I was wondering; is it possible to load luts (Osiris, Impluz, VSCO, etc) into Lightroom?

I shot this when I was in Jamaica, it's nothing fancy, just wanted to post and get some feedback on my grading.

Also: I wish there was some way I could record 60p with my camera and not get stretched footage after. Is there a way to fix that issue (it's not showed in this video and I'm too embarrassed to post those footage.)

Gear, settings & workflow:

Canon 550D (T2i)
Lens: 18-55mm
Stabiliser: Handheld

MLRaw
Resolution: 1152x432
Aspect ratio: 2.67.1
ISO:? (I never normally go above 1600 when I'm videoing)
Apature:? (I don't remember, but the kit lens cannot go below 3.5)

RawMagic: Convert Raw files to cDNG
Lightroom: Colour correct files and export as TIFF
Quicktime Pro7: Sequence import Tiff, export as Mov.
Premier Pro CS6: Edit Mov files

Feel free to leave feedbacks and/or message me, if you don't get me here, try IG: @theKRUDDY

Camera-specific Development / Re: Canon 550D / T2i

Hey guys,

It's me again and I've now gotten a chance to try shooting 60fps with my 550d (Sandsk X3M Pro 95m/s 32g), I tried the MLVFS workflow and I must say the quality of my footage is much better: However, the first problem I had with shooting slow motion with ML on the camera is still there, the footage after imported into "Premiere Pro CC" looks somewhat skewed and squeezed, I know I don't have the anamorphic feature turned on so I'm troubled as to why this happens. That's basically what I mean by acceptable slow-mo footage.

Anyone having or ever had this problem?

I found it, read through, downloaded and installed and so far everything seems to be working fine. I'm trying to understand everything as I go by and so far I had some test files on my desktop, I loaded them into MLVFS and they all worked in Premier Pro CC. Is there anything I should know before progressing, for example to get the most out of my MLV Raw Footage, should I alter any of the configuration option?

Hey Guys thanks for all the help, it's greatly appreciated, I do use ML RAW. Where can I find this MLVFS? Is there a link or post on how to get it and also use it?

I shoot with ML RAW, use MLRawViewer to preview and convert the files to DNG then import the DNGs into Premiere Pro CC.

Is that where the problem is?

Thanks for your reply.

I tried shooting 60fps, it work on the camera; however, the resolution I was forced to shoot in (960x216) isn't good enough and when I try playing back the footage in Premiere Pro CC, it wouldn't.

Is there any way to get acceptable slow-motion with the Canon 550d (Sandisk X3M Pro 32g 95m/s)?

I don't know if anyone asked this question in on this thread but here goes.

Q: Is it possible to shoot slow motion (RAW) with the 550D? 50/60 fps?

Raw Video / Why would one use Frame Skipping?
March 18, 2016, 05:17:40 PM
Hello Friends,

This might sound like a dumb question but the only way to be free of dumb, is to get rid of the dumb questions. I shoot with my Canon 550D (T2i) with SanDisk X3M PRO 32GB - 95MB/s Card at a Resolution of 1280x320, Aspect Ratio of 4:1 or 5:1, I get a couple bad frame looking like a Pink (could be purple) ribbon. I really hate this and was wonder if Frame Skipping would be a solution, Any help would be greatly appreciated, how can I solve this problem?

What are the Pros & Cons of Frame Skipping?

Raw Video / Re: 550d Feb 28 NightlyBuild RAW v MLV
March 14, 2016, 12:54:58 AM
I reinstalled the whole system and now, I'm able to shoot RAW (MLV) at 1280x426 smoothly, I run up to 30s easily on a number of test shots. I believe I got one pink dot on a low light shot, other than that, very thing works good so far, thank you very much Frank.

Raw Video / 550d Feb 28 NightlyBuild RAW v MLV
March 12, 2016, 04:09:09 PM
Hey Guys,

I downloaded the nightly build posted on February 28th and I'm seeing two RAW recording options, one say "RAW Video" and the other is "RAW Video (MLV)". I'm shooting with the Canon T2i and for some reason i'm not sure which one to use. When I use RAW Video I get a couple damaged frames with a purple fill across them. When I use MLV I seem to have a hot spot. Am I doing something wrong?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also if someone could tell me what are the best settings to achieve good RAW videos with the T2i (550d) I'd loved that.
