Curious, if I have auto exposure turned on and configured can I still use AETTR with or without dual ISO? I'm thinking one competes with the other.

With previous versions I could highlight all files and run CR2HDR and it would skip over non dual ISO files. Since version 3.0 it simlpy stops and gives me a warning that file does not exist. So I now have to go through all files and highlight only the dual ISO files. Major PITA. Why is this now happening and how do I rectify it?

I just DLed and implemented the newest Beta3 version a few days ago and I have no problem converting the files. I also use the sidecar files, have for years. The only problem per se is when I just want a quick peak at a photo and don't want to open LR. FastStone is a free viewer and does simple edits but I just use it for viewing as the default is to show full screen black background and it's quick. The DNG's only show at about 1/5 the screen size even though they show full size in LR and for the portrait shots it shows as landscape. Thanks for testing.

In addition it seems the newly created DNG loses its balance and always shows as a landscape format. Again, this is when viewed with FastStone viewer.

I very much like this new version with one exception. On initial import, I assign keywords and copyright data. Once converted the copyright data is missing and I have to assign it again. Can this be easily rectified?

Also, I know this thread is 2 years old but I notice that when I view my cr2's with FastStone they show full screen but I only get 1/3 screen views of the dng's. The file size is comparable to the cr2's so it seems they should be showing full screen. I don't normally view with FastStone but on occasion I just want a quick glimpse.

Me again... last nights test I did with AETTR, DUAL ISO and Flicker. I ubnderstand that the dual ISO will only come into play when dr is quite large. The first few dual ISO shots by themselves I could plainly see the banding, however in last nights test I could see none of that so I figured dual ISO was not used. Once I completed my timelapse, the entire run shows blatant dual ISO banding. 
1. How can I tell if dual ISO was used?
2. If dual ISO is only used on some shots do I need to process only those ones in cr2dng?
3. If I just grab the lot and run them all through cr2dng will that cause problems?

Thanks for the clarification. For now I'll go with in camera and progress from there. I'm not heavy handed with pp and for time lapse will be sure to make the changes identical for each. Now if the temperature outside would rise a little and the cloud cover dissipate then I could do some serious testing. Thanks again.

Please excuse my ignorance. I am new to ml and have mastered  AETTR and Intervalometer and now, also turned on the Flicker module. From what I gather, the Flicker module makes a (ramped) flicker free setting in each xmp file. Although I don't see any changes when loaded in LR after copying all the files, CR2 and xmp then importing. Now I read this and it seems I need to run all the photos through this script to achieve the flicker free result. If the latter is true then what does the ml flicker module do? Do I need both?

I do know that if the script is required I have to do that in Bridge with ACR as LR does not handle scripts and that is sad but fine.

Secondly, it has been stated that no changes to exposure settings be done or any setting in the basic develop module. Only changes to levels are acceptable. Can I not make static changes to all photos in the area of clarity, vibrance, saturation, highlights, shadows, whites and blacks? I do already give each photo a static wb setting usually around the 6500 mark.
