Thank you very much for your answer. I tried it like you said, but I'm simply too ...stupid :D for doing this in the correct way. I do not really need files larger than 4gb because I film in 1728x516 meaning that I can only film for about ten secs, but it would have been nice though. Maybe I try tomorrow again, anyway, thanks for your answer.

Hi, Im trying to get bigger files than 4 GB on my Transcend 90mb/s sd card. Everytime I format it in exfat and put magic lantern on it, it doesnt load the software because it doesnt find the .fir file which is on the card. Can anyone please help me how to get exFat on my card or give me the link to a tutorial? Thanks

Thank you for your reply . And do you even know how the buffer fill method affects the write speed?

Well I think that when decreasing the bitrate from 1.0x to 0.1x you get longer recording times but worse quality. I definitely heard that this is possible but have need tried by myself as I'm more a scenic film maker. ;)

Raw Video / Re: Questions and need advice...

Hi, I'm trying to help you as I have the same camera. I shoot in 1728x516 MLV and convert it with mlvsharpviewer to a .raw and then with raw2dng.exe to dngs. Those all have strange pixels and green/sometimes magenta areas, but when I import them into Lightroom , everything is gone and I have a very crisp image which uprezzes nice to fullhd or even 2k. I would recommend a 7d (around 800-900€) or a 50d (have seen it for 300€ +70-300mm). Both use cf cards, and if I had the money I already had one. And here, in case that you didn't already see it :     https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/lv?key=0AgQ2MOkAZTFHdFFIcFp1d0R5TzVPTVJXOEVyUndteGc&f=true&noheader=true&gid=0

Hi, im using a new magic lantern nightly with mlv record. I would like to know whether there is a way to increase the buffer size to record for longer. In tragic lantern you could set the picture quality to sraw which increased the buffer size heavily. Do the settings in canon menu change anything? I mean, like am I able to record longer mlv when I change the picture quality from raw to maybe small jpeg? And at last, I searched in the forum but didn't found any good explanation : what does the setting buffer fill method do? I currently have it at 0 because I found posts saying that these would be the best.
I would be very happy if anyone answered :)

And please excuse my English as I'm not a native speaker
