I've got a Lexar SDXC 64GB with 133x write speed, class 10, I suspect won't be fast enough. I am guessing for the T2/3/4i the 400x should be fast enough, although I wish they'd stick to one rating or another.. like 30mbps or 100x, instead of both. Kind of confusing. I never know what 133x means short of it supposedly means 133 times faster than the slowest SD card.

All of the ratings (minus UHS) refer to minimum MB/s. Manufacturers just throw as many big numbers on them as they can to make them seem better.

Class rating = MB/s (Class 6 means 6 MB/s)
"x" rating refers to times faster than a standard CD-ROM drive speed of 150 kB/s (133x means 133 x 150 kB/s which is about 19.5 MB/s)
and of course MB/s is equal to MB/s

The exposure presets might help here, try it.

What is the exposure presets, or is this referring to something in the backend to build features? Been using ML for over a year now and have never heard of or seen such a thing. Just took a look through all the settings and user guide and still couldn't find anything. Sorry if I'm overlooking something.

I saw this thread http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=2712.0 but it wasn't exactly what I had in mind and also hadn't been touched in a little while.

My thoughts on this are that there are times when I am filming that I would like to take a couple of full res. photos or times when I am mostly taking photos that I would like to switch over and film something really quick, yet I have to adjust the exposure and white balance  for each separately.

Would it be possible to have a setting that would hold the exposure and white balance settings across both of these modes so that switching back and forth wouldn't require any time to adjust or re-adjust the exposure? I understand that if the shutter speed is at a slower speed than possible for the frame rate of video size you were shooting at it would be a little troubling, but what if the exposure lock feature was somehow combined into this feature to where if you were taking photos at a longer exposure, the camera would bump the aperture or ISO to compensate?
